2 College Junior

Campus Dining: For students that have late classes it is almost impossible to eat on campus. I have many night classes and have to rush from class if I am going to eat on campus. The quality of food is not great especially for the amount in tuition that goes towards meal plans.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: I like the food and can eat it during the course of the semester w/o getting tired of it.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: Crossroads had its good days and its bad days, but I usually felt gross when I would leave from eating there.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: I love the food we have to choose from however I wish we had more variety.

UTC is definitely not known for the variety of food on campus. The main complaints among students are the lack of variety and overall taste of the food already offered. The University Center and Crossroads are the two dining halls on campus. The University Center is where students congregate and socialize in between classes, and Crossroads fills up quickly due to the Subway. Quizno's and Chick-Fil-A are also popular choices.

Residents on campus are required to have a meal plan. The best places to go are Subway, Quizno's, Chick-Fil-A, and Grille Works. There aren't many vegetarian or healthy choices, and the salad bar in the UC is pretty plain. Food tastes the best during busy hours, around 12 p.m., because it's all fresh. Subway often has long lines, so be prepared to wait. The UC is the place to hang out during lunchtime, so there aren't a lot of empty tables to be found. Many students take their food to Crossroads to eat because there is more room. The picnic tables outside the UC are a popular spot during warm weather. Many students prepare their own food in their dorms because every dorm room has some type of oven or stove.
