4 College Senior

Nightlife: On and Off-Campus parties are popular along with bars in SoHo, Ybor, and Davis Island

5 College Freshman

Nightlife: There is always something to do on the weekends

College Sophomore

Nightlife: I was not able to attend because of my children. However, all of the nursing students had a huge party for one of our classmates twenty first birthday. A lot of pictures were posted on Facebook and it seemed like a lot of fun. Also people were talking about how fun it was when we came back to school the following Monday.

5 College Sophomore

Nightlife: So many things to do all the time! Always a new club opening, or promotions at an old club! Beware of frat parties... Especially at ZBT in the Nassau house. Really, don't go there.

3 College Senior

Nightlife: I am not a part of Greek life, nor do I party a lot. I hear about a lot of socials as well as house parties but never partake with my peers. If I go out, it is usually with a group of friends I have known for a while and not from students at UT. This is not because I am not social but mainly because I am older than most of the younger students who want to party a lot.

The nightlife around the University of Tampa is pretty diverse, and it can get wild sometimes. There are several house parties that take place near campus every weekend. Some of them are hosted by fraternities or sororities, and since there are not that many rules, these parties can get pretty crazy.

Regarding the nightlife outside of campus, there is a large list of bars and clubs with very affordable covers and drinks. Most of these places are OK for underage students, with the exception of maybe three or four that do not allow underage students. However, for the most part, students that are not 21-and-up can enjoy a great time in many other different venues, like coffee shops and restaurants. The good thing about Tampa is that there are places for every taste. There are clubs that feature Latin nights at least once a week, beach-theme parties, and there are even a few that every now and then will have celebrity guests to host the party. So, overall, the nightlife in Tampa is something that no student will want to miss out on!
