Health & Safety: The campus reflects a standard atmosphere consistent with securities on patrol and a lot of open areas. These aspects allow a student to feel relatively safe considering the proximity to businesses and therefore loiterers.

Greek Life: i haven't been subject to interactions on this matter. There it's not practical for me to rate it.

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing seem to be subject to the individual preference. For me the inconvenience of distance from the campus and added responsibility of landlords is a distraction from studies. Also given the fact of the nearby businesses, housing off campus might be higher than average.

Academics: The controlled size of the campus, allows for efficient progress in each area noted. This is due to the fact that the small size allows each to be monitored carefully. The program is upscale, the workload practical, the curriculum great, the facilities above average and the internship/job opportunities great being that the school is located near many businesses.

Weather: The sunny, windy and somewhat tropical weather is the perfect atmosphere to be comfortable. This comfortable weather allows students to wear shorts and other clothing which contributes to a great environment for learning.

Scholarships: I am getting a good amount of academic-based scholarships, and my grant money was average

Athletics: The University of Tampa has a lot of great sports on campus. Our men's baseball team is ranked No.1 in its division. Most games have a high volume of fan who show up to games. Depending on the time and day, most games have a lot of student-fans attending. We have a brand new athletic facility on campus, The Martinez Center. The Martinez center is absolutely amazing, it is very spacious and accommodates for students as well as athletes with classrooms and study rooms.

Academics: The University of Tampa is a Liberal Arts school that requires you to take baccalaureate classes along with what you plan on majoring/minoring in. Professors in all programs are very helpful and are more than willing to help their students during their office hours. Our school also has the Academic Center of Excellence (ACE) center. The ACE center is very helpful to all students, especially those who are struggling with classes. At the ACE center students can get help for almost any class with tutoring options and testing services.

Majors: The University of Tampa has an incredible Sports Management program! I've talked to many students from different schools who are also sports management students and their programs don't come in comparison to UT's. I always look forward to going to my sports management classes. The professors make the classes so much fun! All the professors are great at what they do and you can tell they are very passionate about what they teach. The professors keep us very busy with the assignments they give out. Some classes require you to participate in 10-20 hours of community service, which is perfectly fine with the students because it gives us the opportunity to work with many of the sports organizations in our community. The program requires you to take 12 credits of internship. Many of sports management students do exceptionally well in their internships and are usually offered full-time positions with the companies they interned for.

Majors: I am not eligible for an internship yet. I do plan on interning. With the high amount of volunteer opportunities I have had since starting at the University of Tampa, I was able to receive part-time jobs for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Lightning in their community relations department. I have talked to both of my bosses at both organizations and due to the amount of hard work I put in, they have both said I have a high possibility of being accepted into their program as an intern. Due to that, I do not have very many concerns with finding an internship. Even if I were to not go with either of those organizations for an internship, I feel very confident with my choice of school and past experiences that I would not have many concern with finding an internship.

Local Atmosphere: As a business city, Tampa is generally a pretty safe place to live and attend school. I see a lot of younger generations living in Tampa, in their 20's and 30's and few younger families. There's also a huge variety of entertainment venues and professional sports as well.

Of the many colleges and universities in Florida, the University of Tampa is one of the best places to study and enjoy college life. Not only is UT known for being a great place with high academic standards, but also the diversity and different cultures that are found here make the campus an enjoyable place to be. The amazing weather and location also help—thanks to the fact that Tampa is on the West coast of Florida. There is a wide variety of beaches within minutes of the campus. Also, the nightlife makes the University of Tampa a pretty attractive place for kids who are used to the city style of living.

The school spirit can be felt everywhere, and there is always something to do or an event to attend. Overall, the University of Tampa is a wonderful place to study and also to relax in between coursework. Once you're here, you'll feel like you're home.
