Weather: The only thing I do not like is when it gets cold during the winter time. Otherwise, I love the weather in southern California.

4 College Freshman

Weather: Nice and Sunny – The weather is usually nice. It doesn't get too cold (never snows) or too hot (Like Vegas or Arizona). Its always nice and peachy

4 College Senior

Weather: Usually Sunny – It's usually sunny in Southern California, so many students study outside. There's a quad where students frequently study while they tan during the warmer months. Most students live on/near campus so walking or biking to class are popular ways to get to classes.

Weather: 70 degrees and sunny skies, it really doesn't get better than that.

Facilities: you are in luck! On campus housing beats off campus housing. Plus you have everything within walking distance--the dining hall, the gym, all the libraries, and if you want you can wake up ten minutes before class. Throughout the week things are pretty busy on campus and you have no trouble finding something to do, however on the weekends things really quiet down on campus, unless you decide to head off campus to party.

Facilities: Downtown Los Angeles – USC in located in the heart of LA. There are so many things to do in Southern California, and they are all just a drive away--the beach, Hollywood, Staples Center, Disneyland, you name it! So when you are not busy studying it is not too hard to find something to do.

Academics: A Little of Everything – Some of the classes can be a little dry but once your delving into your major course of study they become more fulfilling.

Overall Experience: Summer Got Me Wishing – Its summer vacation right now but I'm ready for school to start again. The experiences are always amazing and its helping me to grow and prepare for the real adult world.

Off-Campus Dining: The UV – Although not the obvious option there are a lot of hidden gem restaurants there and they are decently price as well.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Super Secure – They have soooo much staff to secure the safety of USC students that is amazing, USC offers transportation for students who need to a lift to their car if they have been on campus late (such as studying in the library). There is also a phone alert that a student sign up for the let any USC student know if there is any strange activity happening in the area.

Off-Campus Housing: USC is a wonderful campus, but anyone who is familiar with its location knows that USC is not located in the best neighborhood.

Overall Experience: Great University and Graduate Program – I have really enjoyed my time at USC. I found it easy to become involved on campus. I really love the staff. The students and staff have always been welcoming and helpful.

Campus Dining: Good Food – I think that the hospital cafeteria is good. There are also food trucks. Also their is a starbucks and an einsteins bagels.

Off-Campus Housing: I Don't Live Near Campus – I live at home with my parents so I do not feel like I can provide an accurate rating of off-campus housing.

5 College Junior

Academics: Amazing Student Teacher and Advisor Relationships – The student to teacher relationship is very low and you get personalized attention from your teachers and academic advisors. They actually care and will guide you on the path to success and help you achieve your personal goals.

Computers: USC offers wireless internet throughout the entire campus and it extends to the off campus university owned housing. It's relatively fast which is great! You can also reserve computer space in the libraries

Parking: Expensive or Hard to Find – It's convenient to part on campus if you have $10 a day or pay for a parking pass. You can park in the surround neighborhoods but you may have to walk a considerable amount to get to your classes.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Extremely Cautious Security Due to High Crime Area – Blue light phones everywhere and top security 24/7

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: At USC, you really do feel at home. It is such an indescribable feeling knowing you are a part of the Trojan Family. From the tailgating and the phenomenal football games to amazing speakers (including president Barrack Obama) and lifetime friends, USC has it all. I find myself calling USC home rather than my actual hometown! Everyone is serious about their education and futures, while knowing how to have fun and be social. Ask anyone that attends this school. It is perfect.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: USC has several libraries and labs that allow students to access wifi and their choice of mac or windows computers. Students especially appreciate the 24 hour/day Leavey Library access.

5 College Sophomore

Parking: USC has plenty of parking structures around campus and are currently building more. Walking anywhere across campus will take you 15 minutes or less so it is reasonable to park on one side of campus and walk to the other in a short amount of time!

Nightlife: Hundreds of Fun Parties, ONE Local Bar. I'd say USC is one of the more lively universities when it comes to fraternity/house parties. Dozens of houses throw parties every thursday/saturday night. I've been to each of the frat parties and the ones I enjoy most are at ATO, Lambda and AEPi. If you're looking for close-by bars to drink away your troubles or have a good time, sadly there is only 1 bar (The 901) that is within walking distance from USC. Otherwise its a 5 minute bus ride to L.A. Live downtown.

Greek Life: Way Too Many Greeks – There is too much an emphasis on Greek life. It is the salient way of life.

Majors: There Are Good Internships – USC prides itself on internship opportunities within the alum network.

Majors: It Is Very Solid – I like the way that you are able to speak with professors

Students from Southern California usually love USC from the beginning and strengthen their bonds with the school as time passes. Students who travel to USC from longer distances tend to adapt more slowly, dealing at first with the culture shock that inevitably comes with a first impression of LA. Universally, those who can survive the transition into the USC way of life fall in love with the school after first semester. Typically, students entering school with a skeptical mind-set ends up getting the most pride out of being a Trojan. At the very least, they come away with a new affinity toward college football.

The opportunities on campus are plentiful, and in LA, opportunities are endless. Time flies for everyone at USC, and changes in living conditions, academic standards, and career goals come quicker than newcomers might expect. USC graduates are sure to look back on a college experience that could not have been offered anywhere else. Basically, the more that students are willing to explore the opportunities available to them, the more they endorse the idea that USC is the perfect school for its time and place.
