3 College Student

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have the life scholorship and the rest i pay out of pocket, so i have little to do with them

3 College Student

Academic Flexibility: credits are easy to transfur, but the class times are set and most of the teachers are not willing to forgive for missed classes

College Student

4 College Student

Academic Experience: The classes are small and personable, but for a nursing student, the workload is slightly heavy

2 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My only problem with this school is that I am having frustrations with trying to get classes that I want and the advisors and no help at all.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: My school has people from the age of 17 to even their 70s. Everyone comes to Salk to learn and earn their degree. People work, and go to school. Everyone is accepting and talks to everyone.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Computer labs make it easier to complete school work on campus during free time and in-between class times. There is wireless access available and the network speed is good.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I have been overall with the school. The size is convenient, along with the professors' willingness to help students the best they can.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Most online professors try their best to communicate with you and help with any difficulties you may have. Only down fall with online classes is correctly managing time, having self control, and teaching yourself material you may not even understand. Classroom experience is the best, in my opinion, because a teacher is there to explain the material that is not understood completely.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Professors try their best to help students to succeed. Advisors are very knowledgeable with the intended major and try to help the best way they can in directing students' choices toward their major decision.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: It was challenging not having one on one with a professor, but I learned a lot. I really had to manage my time.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: computer lab had reasonable times that it is open and it has the technology for you to get your stuff done.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The library has an aisle full of computers for students use, there is also two computer labs. There is wireless access in all buildings and even in the pond area. The network is pretty reliable and the speed is great, you can watch a youtube video with no problem.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: We have a student center with a tv, couch, vending machines, pool table, and soccer table. It's a great place to go and just hang out. Also, our library is pretty big and even offers private rooms you can study in if need be. Our gym is a nice-sized one. Even though our doorms aren't built yet, there are many houses students rent in the area.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition here is low compared to other universities I've researched. I received a great amount of financial aid and the process for getting it is easy. The workers in the financial aid office are helpful and are great about answering all of your questions.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: My intended major is Early Childhood Education and there is a specific adviser just for education majors. He is very helpful and only puts me in the classes I need. Classes are pretty straight forward, they aren't super easy but not overwhelming.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: There is a wide variety of classes and programs based on your major. There are a number of helpful advisers to help you only take the classes you need for you intended major. The class registration process is made fairly simple for students. Your adviser puts down all of the information on the classes you need for registration, you carry that piece of paper to the Student Services building where they offer assistance for the process.
