Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
There are many job opportunities for students at USD-on campus and off. Student Employment and Career Services are very helpful if you go and ask for help. Many on-campus jobs are reserved for students who have received Federal Work-Study, but for those who didn't, there are still opportunities in Dining Services, at Copley Library, in Undergraduate Admissions, and elsewhere. For students who have cars or live off campus, they can also put you in touch with many employers who look to hire USD students. These jobs can range anywhere from babysitting to office work. The University also provides many opportunities for students to network with alumni. Basically, if you put in the effort to use USD's resources, you will get help finding a job.
