3 College Senior

Weather: It depends on the season. It rains most of the year and the heat of August, September and October is horrible!!

2 College Senior

Guys & Girls: There's variety... from ugly nerds, to good looking and responsible, to completely-hot-but-no-brain guys and the same for girls.

1 College Senior

Greek Life: There are no sororities or fraternities that I know of.

2 College Senior

Computers: There are a couple of computer labs but nor many printers (and they are mostly out of service). The WiFi SUCKS! It is slow and the signal is just terrible. You can only register your tablet and laptop; no Android, iPhone or iPod allowed.

1 College Senior

Parking: Parking permit cost is $5 (2013). You definitely need a car to get to campus or take the public bus. The availability of spots is terrible (you'll only find a spot easily if you arrive before 8am).

3 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: The atmosphere is pretty good (way better than the campus life). A lot of shopping places and the movies are just a few meters away

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There's definitely no student discount but the variety is great!!
Longhorn, Chili's, Famous Dave, ColdStone, Churrasco Factory, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Wendys, Fudruckers, El Meson, Ponderosa, Taco Bell, Sushi place, Subway, McDonalds, etc..

1 College Senior

Facilities: It makes me depressed to see how this campus life is. It is not united. The "campus feeling" a lot of people want does not exist here.

1 College Senior

Campus Dining: We just have 1 dinning hall and 2 other small places to eat (a cafe and a place for snacks and pizza)

1 College Senior

Academics: There's no special study option; no masters offered; not a variety of programs. Though we finish our grades really fast.

1 College Senior

Academics: We just have 2 classrooms with design tables. The curriculum is poor as the internships opportunities. The workload depends on the professor.

College Senior

Campus Strictness: I haven't seen any altercation regarding the students and the academics .

1 College Senior

Health & Safety: We receive an email almost every week about a laptop or purse stolen and some car that had its window broke.

3 College Senior

Majors: There aren't a lot of Internships offered for my Interior Design Associate Grade.

2 College Senior

Majors: I'm doing an Associate Grade in Interior Design and I've been hearing since i started in in 2012 that we would have the opportunity to start a Bachelor Degree by the 2013 fall semester. That didn't happen... this grade leaves a lot to be desired

5 College Senior

Diversity: This campus is completely diverse in every aspect. We don't judge by race, religion or sexual orientation. We are very welcoming.

1 College Senior

Scholarships: Fafsa said I was supposed to receive a good amount of financial aid and my financial officer said I couldn't receive anything because of my house income (according to them I could pay for collage even if my dad had been unemployed for more than 6 months).
My financial officer never received me in her office, we would always talk in the front counter where everybody in the waiting area could hear.
I definitely hated the financial aid process.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: The apartments tend to be expensive but the security is worth it and the shopping area has variety.

1 College Senior

Transportation: There isn't any transportation available. Just our own cars

3 College Senior

Athletics: Sports in this university is good but definitely can be improve.

4 Recent Alumnus

Facilities: The quater system proves to be very useful to make the degrees in a much shorter time with more intense course study and very convenient for trasnfer programs to other UPR campuses.

4 Recent Alumnus

Drug Safety: I barely see anyone doing drugs and i've seen no alcohol inside campus yet there are a lot of activities where people hang out and have some drinks.

3 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: Sports at UPR Carolina are in progress but need better facilities.

1 College Freshman

Parking: First of all the university is not responsible if something happen to your car. Second if you don't arrive at least one hour to get the good parking if not then your stuck with the worst kind of all. Best way to get there is that you hitch a ride with someone or the bus for the safety of your car.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Fast Food – Fast food are what you can mostly find on a walking distance from the university Here we have from a gran variety of hamburgers, tacos and burrito, to your classic foot long sandwich. My favorite place just have to be Starbucks and Taco Maker, though their a bit expensive its the nearest one to the campus.
