Athletics: The sports facilities accommodate all school athletes and non- athletes. Our school's varsity teams participate in several tournaments throughout the year. The most popular tournaments are the soccer ones.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: The schools regulation policies prohibit the use of drugs and alcohol on campus. Although not all students follow these policies it is not a common sight on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: I believe there should be more spaces since in the last years the school population has grown. The ticketing and fines are at reasonable costs and the parking use rules are fair.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: The university has several computer labs around campus. All of them have tech support and a printing space. The need of a personal computers is convenient but whether you have one or not does not affect your academic performance.

Local Atmosphere: Living in Arecibo is a great overall experience. The city is a diverse place that offers both the calmness of the rural zone and some of the aspects of the urban zone especially at night time.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Since I don't live on campus I can not describe the quality of the housing process.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: The Greek life in my school is almost non- noticeable since fraternities and sororities in Arecibo are very rare.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Campus strictness at my school provides a flexible environment that accommodates students' academic and social activities without disregarding their safety.

3 College Junior

Facilities: It's Growing – The departments and faculties are getting reviewed by the Middle State. They are bringing good computer and very nice technological equipment. They build a new big library, and they are also building new classrooms.

Parking: It's Good – You find a parking for sure at 7:00am, not so sure about by 9:00. You need a parking permit, and your fine. Considering the number of students, the parking is a lot better than other colleges of the area.

College Junior

Guys & Girls: I Guess They Are Pretty Average – I have a boyfriend, plus I run to class, run back home and run to church...I don't pay attention to guys at college.

1 College Sophomore

Transportation: The University do not have any transportation services

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: If you are looking for variety in the food there is no much. But the food it good. Near to the University we have several fast food. Also there are restaurants that sell Creole food.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Campus Illegal – In the upra they alcoholic beverages aren't allowed cigarettes can be smoked in open air places like the lobby or parking lot.The guys drink as much as the girls in the bar near school. not everyone drinks or approves of it. It depends whom your with. On campus there isnt any pressure to do so or to not allow it.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Fraternity life on campus is very mellow. Not as many activities as other years. They are very into there brotherhood and are really close group. But are rarely seen around campus or out of the class room.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: School Community – The University of Puerto Rico-Arecibo is in a very calm community. Near by is a hospital school stores and fast foods. Student housing within blocks from school. Inside the campus you can attend many of the weekly activities in the student lounge or school theater. Activities vary from plays, live music, or projections. It is a very stress free environment with grass to sit down at and a view of the Atlantic aswell as ocean benches under the trees in the lobby and a baseball field and track to excersise in
