3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I don't regret choosing this school.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: Some employees are not capable of handling the paper work correctly.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: There are not a lot of places to study, other than the library.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are few housings, but they have a bit of high pricing.

2 College Freshman

Weather: I'ts always raining in this little island of ours. I'ts great < sarcasm.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: There's a little bit of everything.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There have been several incident's outside in of the campus area, but the university police have been alerted and are around all the time.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The security of the campus it's good. The security guard is always patrolling and checking everything.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: It's a good town, not that bad, but there are several things that can be improved more.

2 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Housing: I do not really know much about campus housing and I have never used it before. However what i hear is that the options are quite vast, but the University has nothing to do with off campus. Each student is in charge of finding it on their own.

Academics: I am a Biomedical Science major. Choosing this major was the best decision I ever made. it is very challenging and I need to dedicate a lot of time to study, but I believe it is totally worth it. The curriculum is very well structured and the majority of the professors are very good. The evaluation system us mostly based in exams and written work. I believe the university of Puerto Rico will prepare me to be the high quality professional I wish to become.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Comfortable apartments that are super close to the campus and the small mall with everything needed.

4 College Freshman

Computers: There computers available are good and updated, but the printing area sometimes gets filled with people because it is a small room.

4 College Freshman

Weather: It is mostly sunny and windy, which is great. About twice a month it rains heavily, but there are good areas to avoid rain.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greeks really know if there is currently studying at university. In the classes I take no students from other countries.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: The only help they gave me, was the Pell Grant, In Universidadd not oriented about the opportunities we have to apply in order to get other scholarships for college expenses.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather is hot, but you can survive!
I think it's difficult for students like me that don't have a car! Walking under the sun is painful.

3 College Junior

Parking: It Can Get Better – Parking on campus, it's a little bit difficult. Even though is a small campus, there is not enough parking for all the students. Sometimes, the students need to park on a shopping mall's parking in order to find one. I suggest a multi floor inside campus, would be great in order for all the students find a parking available and get on time to class.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: It's Safe – I've never felt unsafe in Aguadilla Campus. It is small, and it is surrounded by Security Officials. Of course, you have to precautious, to avoid theft or late-night pranks. But the Campus Security always make sure that you're okay.

Off-Campus Dining: WHAT TO EAT? The variety of restaurants near the campus is really satisfactory. Just a few steps off the campus you could find some options. Also inside you could find nice options to decide where to eat. The only thing I could criticize a little bit is the disscount for students. Not in all the restaurants the discounts are available, but costs are convinient to the students.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: GREEKS IN THE UNIVERSITY OF PUERTO RICO IN AGUADILLA – For the time I have studied in the University of Puerto Rico I had never seen a greek in our campus. Maybe the students exchanges have not been focused between these two countries.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Only campus housing would be near the university and there is no harm or any violence reports maybe typical college small parties at best! Other than the housings can be quite small but it depends on the size of the apartments available. Some apartments you will check out by Gate 5 others just walking distances to the university.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are some close by places to dine but if you can drive an extra 10 to 15 mins on the Carr. 110 Gate 5 and on the Carr. 107 you will find lot of good fast food, somewhat healthy foods like you use to seeing in the US.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Aguadilla Campus – For it being a small university it is still one of the best, I can't complain the professors are nice, love to teach and help students. They have very few bachelor degrees and high priority for the science, business, english and electronic departments. People are somewhat friendly and not much to do on the campus. We have a great new library and cafeteria!

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: Economic Background – In my country this going a crisis economic, where my university comprises. The present government, us this clearing priorities, and the option to have a scholarship to study. The students decided to protest, and are threatened. Middle State this to the slope of my university, observing their status or looking the option of closed completely. All this is a difficult situation for us like student, since the economy in my country moves everything, even until the education.
