3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I would like to get a list of student discounts to places in the area that would be great.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: This is was so easy. Filled out the fafsa and got an email within a week or so with my financial aid.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Not sure I am not into parties. I do know there are a few bars in the area. there is a bus line to use if someone was drinking and didnt want to drive

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: We get alerts if something has happened on campus. There is also a safety office to call if i need a ride home as well which is such a great idea.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: I love the weather where i live. We only had a few snow days this year.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Our school has a lot of spirit . They will be breaking ground on a new facility this summer.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Pros to living off campus is that you dont get involved in bad habits at school. cons is that sometimes you miss some of the interactions.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: Not having a greek live actually helps. You dont feel obligated to try to be in a network

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Having to share a very small space can either be great or break you.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Having these polices helps people to make better choices sometimes without the person having to make the personal choice themselves.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: the Students at my school are open to diversity. I don't see issues with any particular issues . I feel people are open to let people make their own choices.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: Local bus fare is $2.50 each way . they do have free shuttle to a local town area on sundays for free.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: Every weekend, you can always find a party within a few blocks from campus. The dance of the decades was also another dance that was extremely fun!

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: While there are many people who drink at this school and probably do drugs (however I have not heard of anything excessive), no one has ever peer pressured others to take part.

Greek Life: We don't have a Greek life. This extremely affects the spirit at our school. I feel if we had a Greek life, the spirit would increase.

3 College Freshman

Computers: Overall, the computers are good at school. There are usually plenty open in the library or in other computer labs. If you are on your laptop, however, the wireless connection is pretty bad. You always have to reconnect each time you turn it on.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dining is okay because I feel like there are not really many options that are close by. Generally, they are either fast food or the same few restaurants that everyone else goes to.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The school is situated a few miles away from the main downtown part of Portland. It is also near many parks, trails, hiking spots, restaurants, etc. There are a lot of things to do on a regular basis, you just have to look for them.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: There are several bus stops scattered around and throughout campus. It is extremely easy to catch a bus that will take you downtown or wherever you need to go. In addition, the school provides access to zip cars, which makes it even easier to travel further or whenever needed.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: By applying for financial aid, I almost got half my tuition paid for each year. In addition to getting good grades and SAT scores in high school, make sure you fill out the FAFSA early and get it in on time. That is your best bet to getting a good financial aid package.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love living on campus! The dorms are close to everything; from the dining hall to the classrooms and gym. While there are some dorm options that most people try to avoid, overall the choices for dorms are average and people generally find which one fits them best.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: While there are some aspects that get strictly enforced by the school, I know that it is primarily for the students' safety.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I would say for most sports we have a high level of school spirit, but for women's soccer we have the best! Every game the student section is filled with screaming and supportive fans. I am not a student athlete but I am involved in intramural sports - which is fun and a great stress reliever.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: The diversity on this campus is pretty high. A lot of people bring different views and backgrounds to the community, but everyone accepts one another and respects them.

5 College Freshman

Academics: Education majors are the best. The professors are literally the best because they are Doctors of teaching! They love to teach, love to teach how to teach, and are so passionate.
