Tuition & Financial Aid at University of Phoenix - Online: The financial advisers do not contact students as they should. The whole system that the school has is not very good. I was told that all of my classes would be covered and paid for, but when I reached only having two more classes left, they tried to tell me that I could not start my classes because there was money that was still owed because my financial aid did not cover the costs. I was furious. They basically lied to me.

Online Courses at University of Phoenix - Online: If the school had more communication, I believe that things would run a lot smoother than what they do.

Campus Resources at University of Phoenix - Online: Online only courses. A personal computer is required!

Tuition & Financial Aid at University of Phoenix - Online: I have a difficult time communicating with the advisors. The advisors often leave me out of the loop and do not explain the loans to me. I have even had them forget about me and I was almost dismissed from the school.

3 College Senior

Career Services at University of Phoenix - Online: I am not really sure what options are there.

Online Courses at University of Phoenix - Online: Online courses can be stressful without the face to face interaction. You have to wait for emails about assignments rather than approach the professor to ask. On the other hand the courses are more flexible for time and when you actually log in to do the work.

Academic Experience at University of Phoenix - Online: There are many different types of people in the program and you get many different views.

3 College Junior

Facilities at University of Phoenix - Atlanta: It is just a place to come in, get your education done, it is not a place to build fun memories of activities, or events, or where you will look to have a class re-union.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility at University of Phoenix - Atlanta: They are flexible, but seem to have rooms that should not be applicable to adult learners. For instance, I want to be able to double up on my courses to complete the program faster. One should be able to complete a two year program in two years. Why must it take 4. And they have this rule for maximum number of times you can double up on a course. It makes no sense.

3 College Junior

Career Services at University of Phoenix - Atlanta: There needs to be more career activities at the school. In the past year, I was able to attend one career fair, but the schedule was so tight that by the time I attended the special topics, the employers that had been there had left. I never heard from any of the ones I gave my business card to.

3 College Junior

Online Courses at University of Phoenix - Atlanta: I do prefer the classroom work.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience at University of Phoenix - Atlanta: I do wish there was an opportunity to feel school spirit. Maybe some more activities. The facilities are great, so scheduling some fun for team building would be great.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience at University of Phoenix - Atlanta: The academics are great, and so is the quality of the professors!

The student experience at the University of Phoenix, from the enrollment counselors to the faculty, is very unique and personable. There's a genuine interest in assisting students, whether it has to do with admissions, enrollment, financial aid, or classes. The flexibility in taking online classes while holding down a job is critical to enrollment. The University can benefit anyone, from people with disabilities to single parents. The curriculum is very beneficial in any business enterprise.

The classes are very advantageous to students. Many times, the lessons students learn in classes play out in current events and appear on the news, linking the curriculum together with the "real world." This allows students to better grasp the subject and be able to engage peers in a conversation about current events and the effects in their local communities. Plus, the professors engage students in discussions and give them very clear, concise instructions on the assignments. Most professors or facilitators are pretty credible in their field, as well, with a doctoral degree or master's in the subject they are teaching.
