Overall Experience: Prior to choosing the University of Phoenix on line campus, I did quite a bit of research on other colleges that offered on line classes. While some were less expensive than University of Phoenix, some were more, however, most only offered certificates and not actual degree programs. In addition, I found that most of the other colleges were very pushy and called me constantly, even after I told them I had decided on another college. When I first contacted the University of Phoenix, they were accommodating to my schedule in all aspects of communication. They were not pushy and told me to take my time when researching colleges. They wanted to make sure I would be receiving the education I needed more so than wanting my money.

Facilities: I am in an on line learning environment, therefore, campus life and social scenes are not applicable. The one unique factor about the University of Phoenix's online campus is that you have the ability to study and attend classes according to your own personal schedule.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I can not fairly rate this portion of the school as I have had very little exposure to the any of the career resources available. I do know that the University of Phoenix offers career planning, resume building, job opportunities and statistical information regarding career opportunities based on course of study. They also offer where these fields of study are best suited and which states are in most need of these types of professionals.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid offered is well worth the education I am receiving. The advisers are very knowledgeable and will customize the aid to the student. The financial aid process was discussed in detail with the enrollment adviser as well as allowing me to discuss my financial needs with a financial adviser. They are very willing to assist each student with the resources available, and encourage students to apply for scholarships. There is a section on the university website dedicated strictly to available scholarships both within and outside of the college. I would encourage each student who is applying for a college degree to research all of their options regarding financial aid as well as grants that may be available. These are things that were all suggested to me by the enrollment adviser prior to choosing the University of Phoenix,

Student Body: Due to being an online student, this perspective will be strictly from that standpoint of interaction. To date I have encountered many diverse classmates. As a whole, the University of Phoenix is very pro active in acceptance and intermingling of students with regards to diversity.

Online Courses: Since on line courses are all that I have experienced I can not compare it to a traditional classroom setting. The workload is comfortable and not at all unmanageable. Each course has a learning team in which we have peer to peer interaction and collaboration. The learning teams are given weekly assignments and are completed with the participation of each team member. This gives a student exposure to different cultures, thoughts, ideas and backgrounds.

Academic Flexibility: Every situation, concern, and frustration has been dealt with appropriately and efficiently and to my satisfaction. I recently had to postpone the beginning date of my next course and the process was simply a telephone call to my academic adviser and within minutes it was taken care. In addition, I had up until three days prior the class start to make changes to my schedule.

College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I attend an online campus, therefore all of my computer needs are performed at home. The website is very accessible and technical support if available 24 hours a day seven days a week.

College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I attend an on line campus learning environment.

Academic Experience: I am attaining my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management. Everyone, beginning with my enrollment adviser to my facilitators have been more than helpful and caring. They call periodically and check with me to make sure that my needs are being met and if there is anything they can do to help. I am only in my pre-curriculum classes and so far every single of them has had enormous benefits that I will continue to demonstrate well beyond graduation.

Academic Experience: The University of Phoenix offers several Associate and Bachelor programs. The professors are usually available six days a week at leas ten hours each of those days. The registration process was very easy and the enrollment advisers walk you though it step by step. The on-line classroom is great, it was recently updated and is very easy to navigate. There are plenty of resources available to students including personal as well as academic. The University of Phoenix staff, faculty and alumni take the well being and success of student very seriously and go above and beyond to help us achieve our degrees. In addition each course consists of Learning Teams, thus giving students the opportunity to work directly with classmates collaboratively.

Online Courses: The online set up is great. I really enjoy learning and discussing with my fellow classmates. We have online discussions that are part of our grades, so we must contribute to each others posts.

College Senior

Facilities: I am not sure why it is different from other schools.

5 College Senior

Student Body: I have gotten to know many people of ethnicities. It is truly a great diverse school to go to.

Campus Resources: The resources here are wonderful. The writing lab is packed full of resources to help me succeed. The math lab does not work for me. I am lost in my math classes and the adaptive math practices do not educate me on how to solve different math equations.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: I attend online, so I have not a clue.

Overall Experience: I truly want to stay at UOP simply because I do not want to hassle with switching schools. I feel that the curriculum is great here and I am learning so much. If I could do it all over again, I think I would weigh out the cost of attending UOP more so than before. Cost is the major factor for me.

Academic Flexibility: I have had meltdowns because of being overwhelmed. It is stressful at the start of each new block of classes. There is so much information that you have to look at before you start.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The business courses are full of new knowledge. I enjoy taking them and learning the curriculum. The only downfall of this is that some of the teachers are not very helpful. I take online courses and if I have a question, it usually does not get answered. The workload is moderate to full time status.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I truly enjoy all the different classes that I can take to excel my degree.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition price is just unbelievable. I thought when I signed up in 2012, I would only owe $10,500.00. Now, I owe more than that, because each year they tack on more money. Financial aid helps a lot, but I am skeptical about furthering my degree.

3 College Student

Student Body: Because we are an online students we can't exactly see or hang out with other students unless we lived close together. The online student body seems pretty diverse.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: I don't like that I can't work at my own speed whether it be faster or slower than the rest of the group. I have to work along the others although, all through high school I usually excelled and was getting things done a lot faster than everyone else with a lot better grades

College Student

Career Services: This is an online school. The online part does offer resources to help career employment after graduation.

College Student

Campus Resources: This is an online school. I have not been to any of the campuses.
