5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The classes are perfect for a working mother of three. I only have to attend three days a week. With that said I have plenty of time for work, friends, family, and myself. The students are great and so is the staff. The work load is mild and can seem huge, but they may be me just over looking things sometimes.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: I am an online student but, I have had a great experience with all staff and students so far.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is a bit high for the average person, but I have been able to get my work and scholarships help to pay for my classes. A degree is something I need, this school is perfect, and I would pay double for the experience I have had so far.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall this was the best move I have made thus far in life. The University of Phoenix has been supportive, helpful, and an ease to this new adventure too. The classes are made for a hard working person with a family, and I would advise anyone to attend this school, and I do.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am working on a degree in network engineering and have two years left on my bachelors degree. I work 60 pluse hours a week with a family so I have no time for extra stuff, but I do get the work done. I enjoy two classes a week, and can not wait to have 1 class for a 5 week stretch. This will give me more time to develope huge skills in the course I will be taking.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The work load is light and at times seems huge. I just dive in head first and end up completing all work on time. The professors have been so helpful and have always been there for anything. I found study groups, and much more in the school library.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: My classes are perfect and a breeze. I only have to post 2 DQ (Daily questions) and 3-6 sub. answers a week. I also have 1-2 ass. a week too. This is possible with only 2 classes every 9 weeks on ass. degree, and 1 class every 5 weeks on a bachelors degree. The only advice I can give is to have a plan of attach.

5 College Sophomore

Career Services: I work 60 pluse hours a week and have three children and a husband who seems to be a child too. With all my life intails I have found the University of Phoenix online classes to be perfect. I will not say it is easy but, possible. Once I had set a goal, time, and weekly talks with my family I was all on board to sucess. This has been the best school I have ever attending.

College Junior

Online Courses: I have not taken any online courses but have not heard overly positive feedback about them from other students.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I have attended a community college in the past. I did not have a good experience because I always felt like I had to compete with other student for a class. When my academic adviser finally contacted me about a required class, this class was already filled. Here at the University of Phoenix me academic adviser sat down with me and we enrolled me in all the classes required to graduate. The classes are for five weeks. I enjoy this because it keeps me interested and does not drag on repeating the same material. I am always learning something new. My instructors teach in the field that they have made careers in, so this way I get first-hand knowledge about a subject rather than depending strictly on textbooks.

Academic Experience: I definitely have good and not so good classes t the University of Phoenix. Overall I enjoy my experience and I always look forward to the next class. I understand the benefits of the learning team, but it so trying sometimes.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: There is a very nice modern computer computer lab. Although the internet service leaves much to be desired.

5 College Senior

Student Body: Most of the people who attend my school are working while attending school. A good majority are in relationships and have children. The overall student body and staff are friendly, helpful, and outgoing.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: NO Travel Time – Love not having to travel 30 mins one way to get to class. On campus for adults is nightly and getting out late and the drive home at times was not a good match. The professors on campus made things personable where as online do not.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Online Classes for a Busy Individual – Having the ability to do online courses makes education easier then on campus. You may not have the same interaction, but receive equal amount of studies. I have done both online and campus and prefer the online because of the ability to do the work while holding done a full time job and family.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Probably Would Have Chose Another School. I chose this school based on my life's situation at the time. Looking back now I would have chose a school with a better reputation in the working world.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: Older Students – My school is made up of a lot of older students that have not been to school in a few years. It is frustrating sometimes being the youngest ones because the older students do not know how to use Word, Power point, Excel, or even the internet. It is hard to work on group projects when the group members do not understand technology.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Fulltime Employee Seeking Growth in Education – This allowed me to continue working fulltime and gain the knowledge I needed to further my career. Doing both online and campus education.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: A Goal With Growth – The university helps when help is needed and the materials are on target. The business courses give what is needed to function in a current workplace or a new workplace giving the situation. When finances come around to renew each year the adviser is there to help walk you through the process as needed. The campus is close by if further help is needed.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: My online experience at the University of Phoenix only consists of using a forum to communicate with my instructor and classmates. I do not technically have any online classes.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I really enjoy attending the University of Phoenix. All of the instructors are actively working in the fields that they are teaching. Having instructors that work in the field brings first hand experiences to the information that we are learning. Having my instructors working in the field is helping me to become established in my career field.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Numerous Resources! University of Phoenix gives you access to wi-fi internet, printing, copying, faxing, and various other resources that ensure students are successful at University of Phoenix.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Why I Would Choose University of Phoenix Again – As a young, mother of three, going back to complete my bachelor's degree seemed almost unattainable. I looked at other schools and wanted the best accredited education possible for my given situation. University of Phoenix challenged my mind, and gave me the ability to complete my bachelor's degree, which placed me in a better position to provide for my family.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Overall Very Happy – I am very satisfied with my school choice. The faculty is great and you can really tell they want you to succeed. It is really the only school option for me because of the online work and night campus time. The classes are small so you always feel involved and you are granted more one on one time with every instructor. So far all of the instructors have responded quickly if I needed help after school hours. In some instances in less than hour I have been sent a response.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Content Lacking – The main reason I chose this school was because it fit my life. Most of the course work is online, and there is only one on campus day at night. Most of the staff is excellent and excited about what they are teaching. However, the content leaves much to be desired. The first class and the one I am taking now seems to be a waste of money. The instructor runs out of content and sends us home early.
