5 College Freshman

Student Body: They have so many different personalities, it's great. I love getting to know everyone and have fun with all the different types of characters that you may encounter.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: They ask what day would work best for you, than decide if you want to do on-line or campus. They are very willing to work with each student individually.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: They always have work-shops to help students in job opportunities, scholarships and other areas that could help the student.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I haven't had any problems so far, except for waiting. Which can be daunting sometimes

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The campus doesn't have an athletic center, but they do have a student center, an on-line library and many resources for the students

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: They have all the computers necessary for the students. Even having computers in certain classes so all students have access. Their network is always fast and reliable, they have a printer, so if needed students can print information that they need.

5 College Freshman

Online Courses: The on-line courses differ from traditional classroom experiences, because you do not have to go to classes everyday. You can go to work, take care of family and go to class once a week. You meet with team mates once a week also, so you can discuss assignments, and what needs to be done for that week.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: They have it set up 5 weeks per class, this is great, because you only have to focus on one class at a time.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: They offer a wide variety of classes for many different majors. The professors are very one-on-on with the students, making for a very relaxed environment, and helping the students to achieve their fullest potential.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It may be a small campus, but they make you feel very welcome, like family. They want to help you succeed, and are ready to help when ever needed.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: I love the atmosphere, the one-one with the facilitators, the Learning teams and the on-line and on-ground help you receive, when you have any questions, concerns or problems.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Computer Network – My classes are taken online so I can not comment on computer labs, on campus printing etc. However, there have been some technical issues where we could not access the student login, open a links and site functionality issues.

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: School Experience – University of Phoenix itself is not a bad school but I do not like the online learning team requirements. The reason that I choose to do online courses was the freedom they allowed for students to balance work, school and family but so far that has not been the case. The work load each week is not typicaly based on my experience at a local University.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Accessibility to the Campus Activities – Many campus activities available such as workshops in Microsoft Office, Scholarships, Job Interviews, etc. Free dance classes, which are very fun. The library is easily accessible.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Great Opportunities – My professors challenge me to the maximum in each class. They are also available always for me. The facilities are accomodating to get my homework done. Many scholarships are posted, and easily available for us to apply

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Available Education – Flexibility is grand, especially since I have to work 40 hours. Not only is my academic advisor really helpful, but my admisssions advisor is also very available when I need her assistance.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: UOPX Financail Aid – I have a financial officer who is on top of things, so I am not hanging dry. His assistance is wonderful!!!

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The Network – It is truly amazing, especially since I am not computer savvy and I am able to access and utilize it.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: Accessible and Flexible – In the beginning I was very nervous about it all, however, the online work is so accessible and flexible. Therefore, I can work full-time when I become employed and works well with taking care of my children. Since, gas is so expensive now, it really saves on time and money.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Resourceful and Organized – I like that they assign me my classes according to what is expected for my major and degree. The less hassle free time I can obtain, gives me more time to do my studies. My admissions and academic advisors always call me once a week to find out how I am doing. So if I need anything I can tell them at the time I get their phone call.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Resources of Life – When I informed my instructor that I was a single mom, homeless and with three children, she then let the admissions and academic advisors know of my situation, and they all helped me tremendously get all the resources I needed. So as you can see, this is the school to be at, for they really care.
