2 College Senior

Facilities: The Birmingham campus is lackluster.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I am in the business field and the opportunities are limitless. The workload can be heavy but it is important to find balance and have a set schedule in order to be successful.

Academic Experience: Most of the instructors are great but there are a few that are only there for a check. You can easily determine who is there for your benefit and who is not. Many of the instructors make it clear that you can come to them for help at any time, even if your are not a current student in their class.

Academic Flexibility: Phoenix offers the opportunity to obtain my degree and still be a mother and full time employee. I was not able to do that in the traditional setting.

2 College Senior

Online Courses: I did not enjoy the strictly online environment. Too many issues with time zones and not being able to meet up with classmates. I did enjoy the flex-net class (some online and some in class).

3 College Senior

Student Body: The typical student is a working adult with or without children.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Phoenix is a great school to attend for working parents. I enjoyed the flexibility of Saturday classes and being able to attend class one day a week. The program is quite expensive, however; I am willing to pay extra for the convenience.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: There are a lot of papers that have to be written. This gets rather overwhelming when the subjects are not approached until after the paper is due. Some papers are over 4,000 words. It take a lot of time to do a paper every week plus eight discussion sessions and multiple team projects. They should give us a Masters instead of a Bachelors Degree since we put a lot of time and perpetration into it!

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: you can get one on one time with the teacher and have the right to call them at home to help with class material

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: How they have their classes set up i loose much money from my education grant the classes last 6 weeks if the class ends within the month and we break for those six days in the month i dont get counted for that money and it is subtracted so im loosing money

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Because of the amount of work we have to do in a week time.

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Classes have many different start dates,+ credits can be transferred.

5 College Freshman

Online Courses: Information provided is detailed and allows me to complete my assignments.

5 College Freshman

Student Body: They call me to see if everything is going good with my classes and When I call they find solutions to my problems.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: Have not fully used the services, I just registered.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: My specific major is Health care management and administration. The workload and curriculum is heavy. But the information and the things you learn are interesting and exciting. There are many job opportunities in this field. But I do wish there were internships offered in this particular program.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: This school offers so many helpful resources. Phoenix workshops online and on campus for improving math, writing and even job interview skills. This also has a awesome online library with thousands of books and articles for research on various topics.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: My academic experience at this school has been overall a good experience. The professors and faculty members give students all the help that is needed to be successful and to graduate.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Exept for one instructor, the experience is what it should be.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I chose an A- because everything was good except one facilitator. She is still teaching even with all the black marks against her. I dropped her class twice! She needs to be dismissed.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: the financial aid process for me is still ongoing.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: they do not have athletics or any student groups and thats what i want, something i can join and be involed in the school. the entire school for the most part is online.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: They have helped me alot, but I do not think this is the school for me.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: They have helped me alot, but I just do not think this is the school for me

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Awesome School! I like the University of Phoenix! It's very easy to focus on my classes, and the teachers are very good! My only complaint is the lack of choice of degree types and the lack of federal accreditation.
