3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It has been hard to work with the financial aid programs at the school. I applied for the General University scholarship this year and did not get it even though I got it last year and I have the same 4.0 GPA. It has hard to know what they are looking for. I am very thankful to have the Summit scholarship which gives me $5000 a year. I applied for that going in to freshman year, so I would recommend applying for scholarships BEFORE coming to this school because many of the deadlines are in January and February before freshman year.

Scholarships: I am so grateful for the Pathway Oregon program. If not for that, I wouldn't be at the University today.

Scholarships: It wasn't so bad to get until the school themselves want IRS tax information where you had to go through faulty sites that crash to attempt to send them the information needed. And you end up having to mail in a stack of paperwork for them to sort through.

Scholarships: There isn't much non-need financial aid, which is understandable because it's a state school. I received merit money when I first applied, which is great. The only limit I wish was changed is the Honors College giving more merit money. Also, I transferred here, which made me unable to receive my original merit scholarship. I think transfer students should be able to receive merit scholarships.

Scholarships: As long as you fill out your FASFA in a timely matter before deadlines, and if your grades are sufficient, you are eligible for several scholarships offered by the university itself.
