5 College Freshman

Scholarships: At first, I didn't get any, but after talking with the school and explaining my situation, they helped me get grants and scholarships that paid for my first year of school. They are willing to help you, but you have to talk to them and explain what's going on.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: You have to advocate for yourself. If you want scholarships you have to be determined to get them especially if you are not in very poor financial standings. Everyone could use money for college, but determination will get you the money over someone else.

4 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: Te financial aide office is very helpful and they fully describe to you and help you with financial options for paying for school.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: UNC has a great Universal Scholarship Application that I apply for every year.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Financial aid will be a headache anywhere you go my my advice would be, don't be afraid to ask questions. It is important to know where your money is going, and go to the office of financial aid. they are there to help to take advantage of that.
