4 College Freshman

Scholarships: There are lots of scholarships available for most everything and everyone has a chance to earn some money one way or another.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I decided to go to UNT last minute, so there wasn't any money besides grants to offer me. I had to go find money elsewhere.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Getting financial aid was hell for me. Granted, there were lots of special cases with me (I applied super late because I didn't know I was eligible, I'm an independent student, and I was randomly selected for verification), but it took way too long. I was without financial aid for the entire fall semester. The financial aid office kept telling me I was good to go, yet one or two days later I would get an email, call, or letter saying there was yet another issue. It was was more complicated than it needed to be. I did get all the aid I needed (in January), and applied on time this year, so hopefully this goes better!

4 College Senior

Scholarships: Easy at first but then once I got over the 100 hours it was difficult. I had to appeal my financial aid, it took forever, and that time cost me a big grant.
