I got the aid that I needed but my biggest complaint is that it is really difficult to nail down a specific cost of attendance.
When it comes to the aid at this school really make sure you get your stuff in on time, apply for a lot of scholarships, and if you are OUT-OF-STATE, like myself, try really hard to receive at least $1000 in a competivie scholarship because it gives you IN-STATE tuition, which helps out a lot.
Apply to many scholarships that you can. I had to take out loans and I didn't want to but I had to.
It can get complicated with FASFA but the counselors help a lot a UNT!!!
Got more than enough money the first year, but I'm having a couple issues this year that I Am dealing with. Some are my fault for ignorance over the past year.
UNT financial aid is very difficult and time consuming. I do understand the campus is not a small campus and there are thousands of students and only hundreds of staff, but it takes a great amount of time for financial aid to process paperwork to respond and to provide status. Within this wait time deadlines may pass, money may have been due and books are required but you can not do anything until your financial aid has been accepted, reviewed processed and then rewarded. :/
Sorry, there are no reviews.
