Off-Campus Housing: When I looked there were some options but it seemed expensive for a place that was not so good

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: While most students who live off-campus live in "student apartments" run by a third party (very expensive, have to have roommates, but super nice), I've only lived in one of the many "regular" apartments around town, and plan to continue doing so. There is so much housing around campus it's not even funny, and there is housing for every price range, but beware of the cheaper stuff- you might either live in a dump or need access to a car. Most nicer housing has public transportation access, but there is plenty of selection. Look hard to find the best deals!

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Even though I do not live off-campus in Denton, I did search for many months looking for an apartment near campus and know for sure that there are many options near campus. It ranges anywhere from cheap, sketchy apartments to the nice Sterling Apartments right off Fry street.

Off-Campus Housing: Obviously, UNT wants you to live on-campus, which is great, but way too pricey.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I am a freshman and I live on campus so I don't really know much about off-campus housing. But from what I've been told by friends that live off campus, its not that hard to find a place and it can be cheaper than living in some of the dorms.
