4 College Freshman

Academics: The workload for students is not overwhelming. It's doable.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: You'll find some friends no matter what.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: UNF is a very diverse school. So mant different types of people on campus.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: It has a ton of options to choose from!

3 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: The parking is a joke, for one. The fact that we rarely interact with FSCJ or JU is kind of strange.

2 College Senior

Health & Safety: There seemed to be a new report every week last year. Students just walked by the notices as if it were nothing.

1 College Senior

Campus Strictness: The dorms are awful. There's nothing much more to be said.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: St. John's Town Center is a great location, but as a vegetarian, there isn't much to choose from.

2 College Senior

Scholarships: One Stop is pretty much a standard joke at our school.

3 College Senior

Diversity: I don't know how to describe the diversity of the University when it's so nonexistent.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: It's funny how they want to consider "off campus housing" the choices they have currently available. Because they'd look far better off as a university without mention of them.

1 College Junior

Greek Life: I have nothing to do with Greek-Life as I am a nontraditional student

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: I'm an open and friendly person, and find the same about a lot of people I meet on campus.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Being right next to the St. John's Towncenter, the off campus dining is varied enough for any budget, diet, or whim.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: As a Veteran, I am a non-traditional student, and have faced some hurdles. Everyone has always been supportive and there is always someone who knows who to go to or how to solve a situation.

3 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: The police are around a lot and help to prevent crime. The biggest problem on our campus is people reporting false crimes.

Campus Strictness: Your academic life is pretty much all on your shoulders; if you don't hold yourself accountable then no one else will. The rules for dorm life are pretty clear and are strictly enforced. If you get caught doing drugs or underage drinking you will get somewhat harsh consequences.

Scholarships: I got a scholarship upon entering UNF and got supplements throughout the 4 years. I never had a problem with it and never had to pay anything out of pocket.

Greek Life: I don't know much about the Greek life. They aren't a huge part of our campus but they are getting bigger every year. As of right now they don't have housing but are working towards getting it. Many of the fraternity and sorority members think they are better than other students, but some are really nice.

Off-Campus Dining: UNF is next to a large mall and not far from the beach. They are plenty of restaurants and great places to eat.

Diversity: The religious organizations and LGBT are the dominant groups on campus.

Campus Housing: The best dorms tend to be the Village because they are apartment style, but they are difficult to get into. Housing is expensive, but that's to be expected from any college. They do give nice amenities and the staff is really friendly.

Off-Campus Housing: They are not the nicest apartments in the area; they're old and not upkept. The price isn't bad, but you have to be willing to live with a lot of partying.

3 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: There is a wide variety of people at UNF. There is a group for anything and everything.

Local Atmosphere: It's a good area to be in and there is a lot going on in Jacksonville. If you plan on going outside the UNF area though you have to have a car.
