Diversity: Not a ton of racial diversity, but since it's an art school, views tend to be pretty liberal, which makes for a very accepting environment.

Diversity: Diversity? In the South? Just kidding. Honestly, it's not as bad as one might think at a school in NC. The campus is mostly white and black with some hispanic, asian, etc. Everyone is mostly accepting of one another, because the majority of students/faculty did not grow up with a very conservative southern mindset. Politically, I would not say we're conservative or liberal but somewhere in between. The majority of students, faculty probably are atheists but are not outright against religion in any way.

Diversity: I have never been any other place with such diversity and that also has a community that accepts the diversity. Everywhere you look, even in our small campus you can see people from all types of backgrounds and cultures.

Diversity: At UNCSA I can be who I am and not feel indifferent. I am surrounded by many talents and bright individuals. The diversity here is widespread. No one judges you on race or religion. I enjoy going to school everyday and calling my fellow students family. I feel at home.
