3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Typical chain restaurants, with a few hidden gems.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: UNCC is a college, but it's not the college you should go to if you want a real college experience. Until people stop leaving and going home every weekend, UNCC will still be a suitcase school.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The Student Union was built in 2007 and is very nice--has a Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, and a few chain restaurants---Wendys, Einstein Bagels, and Mama Leonnes.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: The campus is well-maintained; there are plenty of flowers and plants all over. The SAC (Student Activity Center) is a little lacking...the fitness center is rather small and cramped. The basketball arena is nice, and also has a rock climbing wall and indoor track.

3 College Junior

Athletics: I wish we had more traditions and school spirit. There's no reason to go the games if no one else wants to go or the student sections are lame.

4 College Junior

Facilities: My school is huge. Whenever some of the people I used to go to high school with come and see it, that's the first thing they point out. And it has great scenery.

3 College Junior

Facilities: There's tons of student orgs to join but they're so separated, I rather go back to my room and do my own thing.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The delivery options to campus are terrible. But now that I can drive, fast food options and grocery options are a lot better.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I would love to join a sorority but I afraid of hazing and the pledging process in general. A bunch of my friends just joined a sorority and treat me much differently now.

4 College Junior

Majors: I love my program, but it's got a few cracks in it. I wish we had time to do team building activities outside of our major.

3 College Junior

Majors: It's fairly difficult it get into this major. They only accept 16 people every Spring semester and there's a multiple aspects to the application process including an interview and that still doesn't guarantee they pick you. And I don't think they make the right selections in the end.

3 College Junior

Diversity: Things could always get better.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: I love the big city atmophere, but most the time I wish we had a more "collegetown" feel. I think it helps build community, traditions and long-lasting friendships.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: This school is amazing. Don't believe anything bad people say about it. The campus is beautiful while the college is also expanding with something new every year. The people are so nice and its so easy to make new friends all of the time. Honestly I love it here and I love the vibrant city nearby as well, I don't regret coming here at all.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: I'd have to say things are not too bad. I wouldn't say the college is really relaxed but it isn't really strict at the same time.

5 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I love Charlotte so much, it is a city that is growing so fast along with a rapidly expanding school. Some may say they might not like it here but honestly this city is so much fun and there is something to do everyday; all you have to do is look for things and you will find them.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Last year I stayed in Sanford Hall, albeit that it is old in inside the experience was great and the people were so nice. All of the dorms of this type are going to be renovated in the next few years so they will be up to date very soon.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: I feel like we have a good option of dining on campus. We have a lot to chose from which makes it good to eat different things.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: I feel like the local atmosphere is awesome. Downtown charlotte isn't far away from campus which makes the nightlife exciting.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I feel like there is a lot of dining options off campus from cheap to average spending.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: I haven't seen any crimes or anything on campus.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My favorite experience in school will have to be the college life where you get to meet a lot of new people and really learn about what you want to do in life.

4 College Junior

Facilities: I believe that UNCC has a lot of commitment with their students and want them to succeeded so they help us out with internships and jobs.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Life on campus couldn't be better, there is a lot of activities going on; especially in the spring time when it is pretty outside.

2 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I feel like the strictest thing at our school is parking
