Academics: Academics are one of the strong suits. My major problem is with the professors who usually take forever to post grades.

1 College Sophomore

Parking: UNCC parking is dreadful. I mean just completely horrible. You'll have nightmares about paying $450 to park and then circling parking lots for 45 minutes in search of a parking spot. I've never seen such poorly designed lots. The school should be embarrassed and ashamed.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Living off campus is cheaper than being in a dorm. There are apartments at every possible exit of the school. And on campus parking will be $450 this year, so if you can live off campus and shuttle in, you'll be saving a lot of money.

Campus Dining: UNC Charlotte has many dining options which is great! The problem lies in expense. If you don't have a dining plan then there is a higher tax on everything on campus. If you can, it is cheaper to eat off campus or cook your own food. But if money isn't a problem, then you'll definitely find something to eat on campus that you'll be satisfied with.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: The Greek system at UNC Charlotte doesn't exactly have the best reputation. I can only judge based on the horror stories I hear. If you can get past the hazing and the constant partying though, you might still have time to worry about your grades!

3 College Sophomore

Academics: All of the professors in the kinesiology department are incredibly helpful and so friendly. If you ever have a problem with something, they make themselves available to you and try to help you through it.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: There are some departments which are wonderful, however the chemistry department at UNC Charlotte is sub par. Most of the professors here are extremely helpful and with just an email or office visit will absolutely help you, but there are also those who are the exact opposite and will not reply to emails and who clearly don't care. The workload is what you would expect from college classes, granted it varies from class to class.

3 College Junior

Academics: I have enjoyed some classes, but others I did not enjoy. The registration process is a nightmare. Seniors get priority and then in descends. There are not enough courses for the amount of students that attend my college.

4 College Junior

Diversity: My campus displays much diversity and a universally accepting of others outwardly. Because I do not know all who attend my university, I cannot be aware of if they are being genuine.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food provided by the school is ok, the fast food restaurants and cafes are good

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I didn't go out often on campus at night, but when I did, I had a great time and met so many fun new people

Campus Housing: Some dorms are better than other. But overall housing is good.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Campus housing is amazing. There are so many floor plans to choose from. If you want a roommate you can have that. If you want to be isolated from the world you can have that too. There's cable and Internet in all the rooms. Wifi is available in most rooms. The campus is updating its housing so there are older buildings being renovated and brand new buildings being built. Housing is also close to academic buildings making it easier to get out at 9:30 and get to class. The only downside would be that it is fairly expensive but it's worth every penny.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: The CATS system is great. It's extremely convenient and almost always on time. And it's free. The SafeRide system however is trash. It takes you 40 minutes to get to your destination and makes you wish you would have risked your life at 2am and walked.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I've always lived on campus but my friends have lived in off campus apartments and they did not enjoy the experience. The cons outweigh the pros of living off campus. Grades drop and partying increases because there's no motivation not to. There are plenty of off campus housing choices and they are relatively close to campus. Of course, the cheaper the apartment, the worse the condition is.

Facilities: My school is a great campus. Its beautiful landscape is one of the many factors that stands out from many other schools. UNCC has many greek organizations that cater to the diverse students that attend. There are also many educational organizations and help programs to aid in staying on track with your goals.

4 College Student

Diversity: There is major diversity at UNCC. The students are very welcoming and open to the different beliefs and backgrounds.

3 College Student

Guys & Girls: The students at UNCC are very diverse. Their attractiveness range from great looks to outstanding personalities.

2 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Everyone dresses pretty nice. Alot of the girls and guys are stuck up and not really willing to make new froends if they already have an established group of friends. You have to know people to get anywhere and get invited to parties etc.

College Freshman

Greek Life: I do not know much about the greek life at my school, because of many of the people being upperclassmen and not living on campus etc.

4 College Student

Academics: Academics at UNC Charlotte can be difficult, but there is always someone to turn to for help.

4 College Student

Computers: UNC Charlotte offers many computers for students to use.

4 College Student

Campus Dining: I like how there are many options for food at UNC Charlotte.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The buildings and facilities at UNCC are all very well maintained, some may be old but they still are very well taken care of.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The academic and social programs are very diverse.
