Campus Housing: Campus housing is amazing. There are so many floor plans to choose from. If you want a roommate you can have that. If you want to be isolated from the world you can have that too. There's cable and Internet in all the rooms. Wifi is available in most rooms. The campus is updating its housing so there are older buildings being renovated and brand new buildings being built. Housing is also close to academic buildings making it easier to get out at 9:30 and get to class. The only downside would be that it is fairly expensive but it's worth every penny.

Transportation: The CATS system is great. It's extremely convenient and almost always on time. And it's free. The SafeRide system however is trash. It takes you 40 minutes to get to your destination and makes you wish you would have risked your life at 2am and walked.

Off-Campus Housing: I've always lived on campus but my friends have lived in off campus apartments and they did not enjoy the experience. The cons outweigh the pros of living off campus. Grades drop and partying increases because there's no motivation not to. There are plenty of off campus housing choices and they are relatively close to campus. Of course, the cheaper the apartment, the worse the condition is.

Facilities: My school is a great campus. Its beautiful landscape is one of the many factors that stands out from many other schools. UNCC has many greek organizations that cater to the diverse students that attend. There are also many educational organizations and help programs to aid in staying on track with your goals.

Diversity: There is major diversity at UNCC. The students are very welcoming and open to the different beliefs and backgrounds.

Guys & Girls: The students at UNCC are very diverse. Their attractiveness range from great looks to outstanding personalities.

2 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Everyone dresses pretty nice. Alot of the girls and guys are stuck up and not really willing to make new froends if they already have an established group of friends. You have to know people to get anywhere and get invited to parties etc.

College Freshman

Greek Life: I do not know much about the greek life at my school, because of many of the people being upperclassmen and not living on campus etc.

Academics: Academics at UNC Charlotte can be difficult, but there is always someone to turn to for help.

Computers: UNC Charlotte offers many computers for students to use.

4 College Student

Campus Dining: I like how there are many options for food at UNC Charlotte.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The buildings and facilities at UNCC are all very well maintained, some may be old but they still are very well taken care of.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The academic and social programs are very diverse.

Greek Life: I am personally not involved in greek life at unc charlotte but i have many friends who are and they love it. i always see people sporting their greek letters around campus and promoting different events for their fraternity or sorority.

Local Atmosphere: There are always a lot of activities goingon with sororities and fraternaties. Our intramural sports are also a big attraction as well as our uniersity level sports. this next year will be our first year having a football team!

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: I know from living in dorms and seeing some of my neighbors getting into trouble that noise, smoking, and drinking are all heavily monitored and not tolerated. Also, our fire alarms work like a charm, almost too well!

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Dining: I always ate on and off campus. They have various options

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Strictness: Underage drinking/substance abuse is not tolerated period.

Diversity: Many difference races, religions, very diversed campus. Everyone is pretty much respectful as far as students and faculty/staff are concerned

5 College Freshman

Computers: There are computers everywhere. The library has hundreds of computers available and you are also allowed to rent-out Macbook Pro's for free! There are plenty of desktops and laptops available for your use, so if you didn't have one of your own, you'll always have access to one!

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Charlotte is one of the biggest cities in North Carolina! Downtown here is beautiful and of course there is Carowinds! There are plenty of huge malls and restaurants! I forgot to mention the Panthers stadium and Charlotte Bobcats!

3 College Freshman

Weather: Charlotte's weather is known for being bi-polar, but I doesn't affect my campus life very much aside from the rain and cold

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: Crowns is good if you don't go frequently. Wide variety and they're adding more options soon.

Weather: Not much that hinders classes from being cancelled. But when there is a chance for snow classes are surely cancelled.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: You have your menagerie of people, those who are attractive, others who are not so much. Most everyone one is kind. You have your typical sororities that have some girls that are quite attractive, and with fraternities you will have a hard time finding a man who is a true gentlemen.
