Off-Campus Housing: I live in an apartment complex that is considered off-campus; however, I can walk to my classes in the morning in under 10 minutes. It's perfect and convenient, and it's not too expensive.

Majors: I do not have an internship at the moment. My major is education, so therefore I will be student teaching within a middle school next year, and I am very excited for this opportunity. Student teachers do not get paid, but the experience is what matters.

Diversity: The University of North Carolina at Charlotte contains a very diverse campus. There are many different races as well as cultures. There are many African Americans, and also many Indians. This is different from me because of my very rural high school experience, but for me it is a very awesome experience. There seems to be complete acceptance of all forms of diversity on campus, but most importantly, there is pride.

Majors: Everyone has to have an internship during their senior spring as an exercise science major. The internship is equal to 9 class credit hours.

Majors: First you have to be pre-kinesiology until you can enter the upper division. A lot of the prerequisites (chem, bio, anatomy) are hard so make sure you enjoy science before you decide to be a kinesiology major.

Majors: I enjoy my major, and would probably choose it again.

Majors: I'm an exercise science major which I enjoy. However, coming into college undecided put me at a disadvantage, as I didn't find my major until the spring of my freshman year.

Parking: Parking on UNCC can be hassle. They have provided the students and faculty over 4 parking decks, and 8 lots to park in! It is just a matter of getting through traffic! So I would arrive at leave 20 minutes prior!

Off-Campus Dining: There are several restaurants around the University area. There are several different dining, inexpensive, options ranging from fast food, to American, Chinese and Japanese foods! Some of the places offer students discounts in a certain time frame! A good place to check out that offers a discount is Bad Dogs Pub, but make sure you have your Student ID!

Transportation: Public transportation is great at UNCC. Means of transportation are easily accessed all around campus! There are always buses running throughout the day and night! If you are traveling late at night there is a shuttle that comes through ever 5/10 minutes so it is very convenient at all times!

Facilities: UNC Charlotte, gives students the opportunity to get involved all over campus. With the many organizations you are bound to get involved in something, there are also lots of classes for example, yoga and dance. We have big organizations such as sororities and fraternities, which also help students create bonds that go beyond the college classroom. My school is unique because it offers something for everyone. You will find that even in your science based classes you are required to participate in research, which can be interesting and you can meet lots of people.

Facilities: Around campus, personally I think each and every facility is different. We have some that have recently been remodeled and are great, while others need some work. Over all each facility can be a hangout spot for students. The ground floor of our library is awesome.

Local Atmosphere: Charlotte is not a very big city but I'am an adult with lots of responsibility so therefore I don't have time to go out and explore the city. overall UNCC is very good school. I would recommended to any one who's looking for a good school.
