Majors: A lot of clear guidance is given.

Off-Campus Dining: A lot more inconvenient now that I have no car

Campus Dining: some great options, but very few

Scholarships: I do not have financial aid or scholarships so I have no experience to talk about.

Nightlife: I am underage and not allowed in bars. I'm also not very social so I haven't been to a club either.

Campus Housing: There are many different housing choices; regular dorms, suite style dorms, and apartment style dorms. I currently reside in a suite style and I couldn't be happier. I have to admit, it is one of the reasons I chose UNCC.

Overall Experience: Well I haven't experienced other schools but what I have seen from college life, I really enjoy it. UNCC campus is really beautiful and it is getting harder to get into academically.

Diversity: There are many different ethnicities on campus, however the majority of religious affiliation is christian. I am an Atheist and let me say, I don't think you need 23 different christian clubs when it's all for the same religion.

Drug Safety: I don't get out much at night or go to parties but I've never seen any openly drunk people out and about.

Computers: I usually bring my own laptop with me when I go places that require that sort of thing. I do not know where the computer labs are but I know we have them. There are computers available at the library but I'm not sure if you must reserve them or if you just use one if it's free.

College Freshman

Athletics: I do not attend sporting events but we recently got a football team which I know has been very popular lately. I think season tickets were sold out months before the year even started.

Campus Dining: There are several on campus restaurants such as subway, bojangles, wendys, chickfila, and many others. The problem is they all close really early so I've never gotten a chance to eat at them.

Guys & Girls: Based off the facebook confessions page, there are a lot of mean and snotty people at my school. However, there are nice people on campus too. A lot of cute people as well.

Academics: As a biology major, I have to take loads of biology and chemistry classes. Our chemistry department is currently on academic probation, or so I hear, but I think that it isn't an impossible course. My biology professor is also very interested in helping us out. I think he just wants to inspire us to be as passionate about biology as he is.

Academics: There are loads of academic options to choose from. The majors offered vary greatly and is very useful.

Facilities: The facilities on campus are amazing! The student union has a movie theater, the library has tons of quiet places to study and a nice cafe, there are plenty of places to get coffee, and they are all very clean. I wouldn't say they're modern since chalkboards are still in use but they make do.

Campus Strictness: When I came to college I thought I was going to be able to get away with a lot of things. This, however, seems to not be the case. Attendance is monitored, drinking/drugs are monitored, and pretty much anything else you would imagine a college student doing is also kept to a minimum on campus.

Local Atmosphere: I've lived in Charlotte all my life and I've always enjoyed the "downtown" atmosphere. However, I am currently residing on campus at UNCC and I am without transportation to the big city. The bus lines are hard to understand so I am stuck on campus. Charlotte does have many festivals though, one of my favorite has always been their New Years Eve party. It's a blast with loud music, fireworks, and beautiful lights.

Greek Life: Most of the students in Greek life that I know are really nice and not your typical Greek type. They do a lot of community involvement events and are very prominent on campus. It depends on which sorority or fraternity it is, but some are pretty bad when it comes to partying and drinking.

Campus Strictness: One thing that this school is very strict on is the honor code and cheating. If you cheat or plagarise, there are very serious consequences. You automatically fail the course and suspended from the university. They are also really strict on parking. Parking fees have pretty much paid for football on campus if that gives you any idea of how many violations they charge.

Drug Safety: There are a lot of students that do drugs and drink a lot but does not affect the experience on campus. If they do these things, it is usually in private or at party off-campus. I have never felt pressured to take part in this but it all depends on who you hang out with.

Nightlife: I don't have the best review of this because I don't partake in much nightlife but this school is just minutes away from dowtown Charlotte. There are a lot of clubs, bars, and fun things to do there. Most activities, however, are only good for 21 and up. On campus, there are a lot of parties that go on but I don't know how great they are.

Diversity: UNC Charlotte is very diverse. You will meet all kinds of people here with different backgrounds financially, religiously, politically and ethnically.
