Majors: I have not done an internship while in college so I cannot rate.

Transportation: I have not used the transportation services offered at my school.

Academics: I have picked decent professors. There are those that have accents or their teaching methods may be hard to follow. If you're in that situation, don't be afraid to email or meet your professor at their office hours. The registration process can be headache at times. The classes you may need, will fill up quickly; or the professor you want may not be available. Then you are left with horrible class meetings, times, and even a difficult professor. The registration process is first come, first serve. My tip for the registration process is: to not wait too late do sign up for classes and if the class you want is full, keep checking it from time to time for an open slot. The study options on campus are great. If you need help with a class, set up a meeting with a tutor or set up a study group with the people in your class.

Academics: I am an criminal justice major. I have just been accepted into the major, and I feel as though I cannot judge the workload yet.

Campus Strictness: I think my school is fairly strict. You get caught doing something that goes against the rules, you will be punished.

Off-Campus Housing: I have not lived off-campus. However, through multiple friends that do live off-campus, I would say it is an okay experience. You have a little bit more freedom to do what you want. One of the challenges they constantly faced when living off-campus, would be commuting to school and not being able to find a park.

Scholarships: The actual filling out the aid and receiving your aid is simple and quick. It depends on the individual and their needs. With my situation, my father loss his job, and we filled out a parent reconsideration to receive more aid. In the beginning, my parents and I did not know we could do that. My tip for anyone would be: if you have any questions, do not hesitate to call the Finanical Aid Office or contact them through their website. Throughout the years, I have done both and they have somewhat help clarify the problem and guide me to a solution.

Guys & Girls: You have friendly people and you have non-friendly people.

Campus Housing: The housing process is very simple and somewhat quick. I wish there were more events/attractions for those who live on campus. I would rather live on campus than commute because of the parking.

Academics: I loved obtaining my psychology degree at UNCC. The students were awesome and overall they have good teaching staff.

3 College Senior

Academics: It's a pretty easygoing school. We have a very competitive engineering and architecture program, but other than that the course load is very bearable and the teachers are acceptable.

Off-Campus Housing: I lived off campus for my entire college career. I had no trouble finding an apartment any year, and I changed after each school year. There is tons of all-inclusive options that are close to campus, and there are options for regular apartments too if you are looking for a place with less college students.

College Senior

Majors: I have never done an internship through my school.

Majors: Once you declared psychology as your major, you had to take an online quiz through moodle and pass basically the necessities to acquire a degree in psych.

Nightlife: The nightlife at UNCC is different depending upon who you befriend. If you hang out with partiers, it's going to be awesome. If you hang out with people that don't party, you're likely not going to hear about parties.

Campus Dining: There are many options for eating on campus ranging from fast food to dining halls. I really love the fact that they have an on-campus Salsaritas, for example. I also enjoy the options provided for breakfast and lunch at the main dining hall. There is a fair amount of variety and I can eat alot for a reasonable price. Overall, I think that they have really done their best to cater to the student's needs

Health & Safety: The police are always around. You see the police cars patrolling all day, so the campus feels pretty safe.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Many student housing opportunities with great prices and close to the campus.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Only one problem, with receiving a scholar ship, but the issue ws strictly on me for not checking my mailbox. Otherwise, I received my financial aid on time.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I love our athletic facilities here on campus. The gyms are easy to get to, and Have many courts, for all types of athletic activities.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Amazing diversity on campus. Many clubs and programs to meet people from all over the world.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I haven't had any real problems with my housing experience yet. Both the application and the move in process, were smooth and easy.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: I don't party, or drink, but I do hear a lot of stories of places near campus.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: We're in Charlotte, an amazing city in North Carolina. One of the up and coming big cities in the South.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: Rain is the worst, but plenty of buildings to escape the rain.
