3 College Freshman

Transportation: I haven't used the transportation on campus. I know many people who do and they seem to like it.

5 College Freshman

Majors: The business program is great. All of the professors are very nice as well as the advisers. I am in the Business Honors Program and that was the best choice I ever made. I would choose Charlotte all over again if I had the chance.

5 College Freshman

Majors: There wasn't much difficulty getting into the business school. For the Business Honors Program, there is an application process. It includes a few short answers, an essay, and an in person interview. It was totally worth it!

Campus Housing: I love living on campus. I live in Lynch Hall (learning communities). It's strictly freshman, on the north side of campus. I definitely recommend a learning community. Lynch has all suites. Some are single room suites (no roommate) and some a double rooms (roommate). I have been in Miltimore and Witherspoon (honors and international dorm). Both are very nice inside and have both suites and apartments. Charlotte's on camps living is becoming more and more like off campus living. Soon, there will be no reason to move off campus!

Computers: There a ton of computers in the library that anyone can use. There is always a computer open except for during exam times. There are also computer labs in many buildings, and I think some residence halls have computers.

4 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The school isn't too strict about a lot of things. I would say it's comparable to other schools. It's not too much but it's enough so that everyone is safe.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: If you don't want to be a part of all that, you don't have to. Just find friends that are like minded. I don't like to get involved with any drugs or alcohol. Just leave, you won't be missing much.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: I didn't have to deal with the financial aid office, but from what I hear, they are accommodating.

5 College Freshman

Academics: Business is great at Charlotte. There so many opportunities, especially since Charlotte is such a big business city. Many employers come to campus for job fairs and career fairs, and networking events, etc. If you are sure that business is what you want to pursue, look into the Business Honors Program! It's an awesome program!

Off-Campus Dining: There are a lot of average priced restaurants around campus. They have plenty of grocery stores, Target, ice cream shops, fast foot, cookout, and a variety of other restaurants.

5 College Freshman

Nightlife: There is definitely a lot to do if you like to go out.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: The campus is absolutely beautiful. There is so much brick and many trees. Everything is always very clean, and they are building new and renovating the residence halls to make it much more comfortable.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The city is not a long drive away and there is a lot to do there. There is a big mall not too far away either. There isn't much to do immediately around the campus. You have to be willing to drive places.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There is so much diversity on campus. There are so many diversity related organizations and you learn about diversity in almost every class.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The police are always on top of things. I get emails whenever something comes up. I try to walk in a group at night, but during the day, it's fine.

5 College Freshman

Weather: Besides rain, I love the weather!

Drug Safety: There is a lot of marijuana visibility and usage. Policy enforcement is enforced. Alcohol usage, peer pressure, and visibility is high. Policy enforcement is sometimes enforced depending on the situation.

Greek Life: Non-Greek students view Greek students as "cliquey" and some even think that in order to feel that they belong is by joining a Greek organization. Many students live off campus in apartments which provide discounts for Greek members to bring their brothers and sisters into an apartment with them. Greek housing is provided by the school in designated resident halls.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: Everything on campus is pretty new. So to me all the facilities look nice

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It's my first year and so far I am loving it I enjoy everything about my school

Greek Life: The greek life here is great. They do a lot to help the community and the director over all the greek life is really nice she makes sure it's no harsh entry if you want to join. The Greeks stay in Greek Village which are nice houses on campus. The Greeks throw nice events for the rest of the students
