Transportation: Safe Ride seems to be the one I hear about the most. Safe Ride seems to be very convenient for residents. I always see them around so I'm sure the pick-up times are reasonable. If students don't feel safe walking to their dorm or car, they can take Safe Ride.

Weather: The weather for the past several months has been crazy. One day it's hot, then the next day it's freezing. I do not enjoy my fifteen minute walks to class when it's cold. I do not mind my walks at all when it's warm out.

Majors: From what I recall, Statistics, General Psychology, and a Natural Science class was required to declare Psychology as your major. I did find it challenging because I had to have my Associate in Arts in order to get into the program. I wasn't allowed to register for classes and such until a few days before classes started. You must earn a C or better in the required classes in order to declare Psychology as your major. I would try my best to earn at least a B in those classes so you can have a higher chance of getting into the program. I had a 3.7 GPA then. You will definitely have a higher chance of getting in with a higher GPA.

Majors: I enjoy my program very much. My professors are so educated and knowledgable. It inspires me. They have a passion for their expertise and it makes the classes even more interesting. I do get a lot of homework. It's mostly readings from the textbooks and chapter books. The readings have to be done in order to do well in the class for quizzes are assigned regularly.

Off-Campus Dining: There's so many restaurants and fast food chains around the area. Charlotte is pretty big so I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find the type of food you're looking for.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I've heard many people speak of Greek Life but it's not the biggest deal at this school. People are accepting either way.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I've never lived off campus but I heard that it's worth it. Many people save a lot of money by living off campus.

4 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There is something always going on in Charlotte. There's concerts, games, and attractions. There's two malls nearby as well. Downtown is beautiful.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: I have attended several basketball games and there's excellent school spirit. I have heard people complain about how small the gym is for those who need to train. I think the school is working it's way up in the athletic department.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I have not witnessed or observed any drug use. I haven't even heard anything about that topic so I'm assuming it's not a big problem. If it is, they are doing great keeping it on the down low.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: They're strict when it comes to parking. It's hard for residents to find a parking spot. It seems like commuters have more of an advantage. They will give you a ticket if you do not park where you're supposed to park. Other than that, laws and rules are enforced. Campus strictness is a good thing in my book. It keeps a school from falling apart.

Weather: It's North Carolina so the weather is unpredictable. I love it here but it gets hot in the winter then it'll be freezing. And summers are humid.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: The gym is so tiny. When you have 26000 students either have a bigger gym or more than just one.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Housing is good. The dorms I live in are old but they are kept up.

3 College Freshman

Computers: Sometimes the WiFi goes in and out but it's not terrible. So the computers here are good with me.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I mean it is jay like any other school. It has the generic majors but the main ones are criminal justice and engineering.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I'm still doing my general education but so far everything has been good.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: A girl got sexually assaulted last week and there have been robberies so I don't how I feel about it.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing is all in walking distance of school so it is a really good thing to do.

3 College Freshman

Academics: I think the academics are the same as any other school. However, the main focus is criminal justice and engineering.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I know people who do and have yet to get caught but some people have so its okay at best.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: I don't take any kind of transportation but it is there and it is free if I wanted to.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: From what I have seen, any incident that happens is quickly resolved and all the students are sent an email to be notified about the incident. I feel pretty safe on this campus just because everything is so well lit.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The policies in this school are very lenient. As long as no one is breaking the law or harming another in some way, rules are lenient.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I have an excellent time living on campus. I have my own room therefore I have plenty of space for all of my belongings, and I do not have to worry about disturbing another person. All of my floormates are very respectful of each other making the social atmosphere excellent. The housing process is smooth and runs on a lottery. Im not sure what are the best or worst places to live but I enjoy living in scott hall
