Off-Campus Dining: There definitely good be more variety but overall there are a lot of great restaurants ranging in price

Campus Strictness: A pretty relaxed campus overall in terms of rules.

3 College Senior

Majors: Amazing teachers, but it's REALLY hard to get into the classes you want to take.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: It's a pretty complicated process, but not too difficult.

Nightlife: UNC has a great nightlife scene!

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I haven't lived off campus

Computers: There's no need for a personal printer. Everyone should have a personal computer just for convenience because computers are very necessary. Network reliability and speed is great, as is wireless access.

Health & Safety: UNC has an alert service that sends messages to all of the student when there is an emergency of some sort. Also, we have blue emergency lights all over campus that you can use to call for help.

Off-Campus Dining: Off-Campus dining is very convenient because there's a street full of great restaurants right next to UNC.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I'm not sure about the nightlife because I don't participate in it, and I don't have friends who do. However, UNC does provide free campus shuttles from 7:00pm to 3:00am.

College Freshman

Majors: I am currently not in a specific program. I am an undergraduate whose major is undecided.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I didn't really encounter that many difficulties. The biggest thing for me was that UNC-Chapel Hill is a bit far away from where I live.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: School spirit is really great here, especially when it comes to basketball. We provide a lot of support for our sports teams. We have two gyms that are open for all students to use that are great.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The location of my dorm on campus is great because I am close to classes and the main part of campus where large events happen. Because this part of campus is so concentrated in a single area, it is difficult for people who live farther away to get to it, though. Social atmosphere differs with each dorm. The social atmosphere in my dorm is great.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: There are multiple buses that go around campus. Campus shuttles that run from 7:00pm to 3:00am are useful as well.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Buses can get crowded easily

UNC is known for its great academics, abundant research facilities, and storied athletic programs. Students who are priviliged enough to attend Carolina are happy with their choice even though it may not always have been their dream. UNC has been in the top five public schools in the country for the past eight years, and it is considered a "public ivy," so it's no secret that the quality of education at Carolina is far above average. Students at Carolina are continually pushing borders, experiencing new things, and becoming individuals.

At the end of their collegiate careers, many boast of having had the best four years of their lives in Chapel Hill, and that is evidenced by the overwhelming alumni support. UNC will prepare you for what is to come after the beautiful undergraduate years under the perfect Carolina blue sky. But most importantly at Chapel Hill, it is important to cherish every moment because four years fly by, and the college experience is soon over. One of the best things about Carolina is the immense school pride with which the stuent body lives as Tar Heels. Sure, college will be difficult. There will be failed exams and broken hearts, but there will also be experiences that you will never forget—weekend trips with your friends, late night yo-po runs, foam parties at Pulse, Holi Moli, and many others. When you attend Carolina, you will receive a quality education and a great college experience.
