While there are always a few students who are critical of the University, you will find that most students are very happy with their experience at UNCG. After all, it isn't like high school—students actually pay to be here. They wouldn't stay at UNCG if they didn't think it was the best place to spend their money and the next four years of their lives.
In the end, that's really what a college experience is all about: life. Sure, you're paying thousands of dollars to further your education, but you will actually end up getting a lot more out of it than that. Living and learning in the UNCG community will enrich your life. You will make friends that will feel like family, and you will keep in touch with them for years to come. You will learn to love Greensboro and all that it offers. Your mind will be broadened, both with things you learn in and outside of class. You will listen to inspiring speakers, watch amazing stage productions, attend awesome parties, and discover more about yourself and the person you want to be. Students love UNCG because it encourages and enables them to have the time of their lives.
