4 College Junior

Academics: The professors that I have encountered are all exceptional, and it is a privilege to be learning from them. The majority of the ones I have been in classes with take a personal interest in their students and work with you to ensure that you are actually learning what they are teaching.

Academics: I have said it before and said it again, It's New Orleans for goodness sakes. I am able to study jazz vocals in a private one hour weekly lesson with an instructor who received her masters from Julliard and is an active member of the New Orleans Music Scene. We have classes taught by musicians who work in the field and have clinics with famous musicians. I get class credit for being in a rock band and we are about to go record in Better than Ezra's studio...yeah it's amazing.

Academics: The workload is okay and very interesting. It requires an internship or more, but very nice field to be in.

4 College Senior

Academics: Being a Political Science major at UNO is very rewarding. All but two of my professors have at least a PhD in Political Science. There is a lot of reading and discussion. The workload is not bad at all, except when taking a data analysis course. There are many internship opportunities for Political Science majors, as well
