Academics: Overall, the University of New Mexico's academic system is phenomenal in that the university is considered a "Research 1 Institution," thus offering students and staff a plethora of tools and programs streamlined to encourage and promote efficient means of conducting research among nearly, if not, all fields of study!

Academics: Majoring in Biology at the University of New Mexico is an amazing experience due to the amazing students and staff which the field consists of, as well as the program itself being structured very well, allowing for students looking to pursue medicine, a great opportunity to eventually enroll in one of the best medical programs in the country!

Academics: Professors are fantastic. Curriculum is comprehensive. Registration is always a nightmare. Workload is definitely hefty, but hey it's college. I always go upstairs in the SUB to study.

Academics: UNM has an excellent Nuclear Engineering program and I am quite thankful for all my teachers expertise. New Mexico has a strong and proud history with Nuclear power, and two of the country's leading nuclear physics laboratories- Los Alamos and Sandia National Labs. UNM hires a lot of these experts to come and teach us aspiring Nuclear engineers.
