Computers: The computers are fast and reliable. internet speed is fast and wifi is available almost everywhere.

Computers: We have many computer labs located at the library as well as main spots such as the MUB. Of course I would love to have free printing, I understand we need a cost for it and my school is very cheap and efficient. The wireless connection at my school has just recently been available in every academic and residential building, so they are still working through many nooks and cranks, but it is still pretty inconsistent.

Computers: There are a lot of computers on campus it's just a pain to pay to print off your papers.

3 College Freshman

Computers: network speed can be slow

4 College Sophomore

Computers: The computer labs, found in the MUB and library, have fairly new computers. The lab in the MUB has half Macs and half PCs in the room so the students have options. Most of campus has PCs.

The wireless is pretty iffy. It comes and it goes based on the time of day but it's only a year old.

You definitely need your own computer on campus.

Although the number of labs might be a bit small for the number of students at UNH, there is always at least one open. Most of the students bring a computer just because it makes their life easier in the end. However, college is not completely impossible without a personal computer. UNH tries very hard to keep their computer programs updated, and the student network is fast and efficient and very rarely malfunctions or shuts down completely. All UNH labs are updated with the newest computers (Dells, Compaqs, and Macs) and are available to all UNH students. So, even if you don’t have the convenience of your own personal computer, the ones provided for you are more than adequate.

The campus has many options for renting laptops or purchasing software from a very good computer store on campus. The store also repairs student computers for a good price. UNH has a T3 cable connection to all the dorms, the library, and other computer labs. People with wireless laptops can also get Internet connections in the library. Overall, the computers available on campus are top-of-the-line, and the services offered on campus are very helpful.
