Scholarships: I have applied for financial aid before when I was at TMCC and the process was exactly the same when I went to UNR.

Scholarships: It takes a long time for ones financial aid to go through. Word of advice, apply as early as possible. If you wait to long you are less likely to get the aid you need, and it will be a headache to receive it before school starts. However, most of the financial people are willing to help with whatever they can. I recommend though if a student is experiencing problems with their aid, to contact a financial aid supervisor, they are much more knowledgeable and will be able to help a lot more.

Scholarships: DO THE FAFSA EARLY AND ON TIME. SAVE YOURSELF. Apply for scholarships even if you think it won't be much/ you won't get them. Especially if your grades are decent.
