4 College Sophomore

Majors: Its great, now. I got with the right advisor and I am set with a class plan to get graduated in the next couple of years. My first advisor didn't know anything and was giving me the wrong information.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: I love it, found my niche. The department has welcoming and knowledgeable instructors.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: It seems safe in Kearney, however there is the presence of underage drinking, theft and other crimes.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: Never really a problem. Many ethnic groups keep together.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Like our options, however, somedays it would be nice to have some alternatives.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Lots of organized things for the community. Lots of opportunity.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: Never any problems for me.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Never had to worry about this.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Very good. Great instructors who care about the students.

2 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: It seems to be available around, I stay away from those things.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing is great, if you can find a place. My brothers girlfriend has a dump.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Kearney is a great place.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Tough when you transfer from another college. They don't seem to trust me nor give me many options, so far.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Parking is so strict. Be careful.

2 College Freshman

Athletics: Can't get into sports cause the teams suck.

3 College Freshman

Academics: A lot of gen eds like any other school that don't apply to your future. Also, NSE advisors are a joke. Find a real advisor or current student to help you.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: Always something going on if you know the right people. You can't spell drunk without unk.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Lower cost, more space, still the same problems with room mates.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: There are a lot of students from other nations still learning English. It can make class difficult at times.

2 College Freshman

Transportation: There is no cheap way to get to and from Nebraska and Florida.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I've been on my own for two years, but the government still says I'm a dependent. Getting aid is difficult, even through ROTC and the Nebraska National Guard.

2 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Small town, still growing. Not much to do.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I'm a big guy. It's not often that I don't feel safe.

3 College Freshman

Academics: I have had excellent professors, and then those that should rethink their profession. I guess that could be said of any school.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I noticed it more at high school.
