One of the things that almost everyone loves about Mount Union is its facilities. The University is constantly building, renovating, and adding on, and the efforts don't go unnoticed. Students rave about the modern buildings like KHIC and the MAAC, but also appreciate the charm and history behind older buildings like Chapman Hall. They also like the fact that the school is incorporating green practices like solar power into all new construction projects. There are some buildings that students say could use renovations or updates (like Cope Music Hall and Eells Art Center), and many wish that the Hoover-Price Campus Center had more to offer. However, nothing on campus is derelict or falling down.
Students appreciate the fact that Mount Union makes an effort to keep up with maintenance and renovations, and most love the architecture of the buildings and the overall appearance of the campus. But the buildings don't just look good—what's inside of them is also great. The MAAC houses state-of-the-art workout equipment, while Bracy Hall features various labs, a greenhouse, and an observatory. In terms of technology, KHIC is home to resources like computer labs and multimedia classrooms. It's clear that Mount Union takes pride in its facilities, and the result is a campus full of up-to-date, environmentally-friendly buildings where students can live, learn, work, and play.
