College Freshman

Greek Life: I have never tried to join a fraternity, but the people I have met in Greek organizations have been pretty decent people. There is a stereotype that goes with fraternities and sororities that doesn't seem to apply to Montevallo. The Greeks are there, but they aren't anything like the stereotypes.

5 College Junior

Greek Life: What I have seen the Greek Life at Montevallo does a lot for charity organizations. Some of the houses are very active in the community and are close knit and not snobbish or cliquey at all.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I am not Greek so I can only rate from the outside looking in. A huge population of the whole entire campus is Greek. All organizations seem to get along pretty well. They have the tendency to be a bit loud and arrogant on campus. I have noticed that many that are Greek are often tired and not as focused on school work.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek Life at Montevallo is okay. But it is getting better and better with people adding new chapters.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Really there is nothing special about going greek here greeks live just like the other student and go to the same parties so if you want to pay a bunch of money to join an organization by all means go ahead.
