Scholarships: It really wasn't a hassle for m. I applied, got the financial aid, and had it applied to my student account promptly. Just int wait until the last minute to apply, that's when problems and time issues will occur.

Campus Housing: People say room with a random.. No choose Simone you know, you'll be better oft. Also chose an on campus apartment if you can unless you just want to be close for the convenience of it.

Local Atmosphere: There is a ton of stuff to do nearby! There are the festivals and day to day happenings of Columbia and then the nearby bigger city of St. Louis to check out. And if you have time over a weekend there are lots of great places to see like Lewis and Clark sites and Mark Twain's birthplace.

Academics: This school is great at helping students achieve all the knowledge possible to obtain their goals

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The school is the only "beauty" in Columbia

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: It's cheaper than dorms and the freedom is gray but its easier to lose track of school which can be dangerous

Scholarships: It's better to make sure you have all the requirements for your scholarship if they require things to do while in school but they have many available

Computers: The entire campus has its own wifi which is kinda slow at times but it usually helps me find what i need online

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is some intolerance of of some peoples but overall everyone gets along pretty well

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food selection is great but it's not the healthiest to eat everyday

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: MIZ-ZOU!!, I hear the chants all the way from my apartment when there is a Football game. Mizzou's school pride is amazing and they support their teams as loud as they can

2 College Sophomore

Parking: Find parking spots early and don't force spots or park illegally because you will get a ticket

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Drugs are cracked down upon but not many students participate in doing drugs

Overall Experience: School pride is amazing and the Greek life is really big and it encourages students to join and get more involved. Along with the great landscape of the campus the buildings are spacious and awesome.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus, I live in a apartment complex near campus

4 College Sophomore

Weather: It's Missouri so the weather is unpredictable at times

Facilities: It's a great school to attend

Local Atmosphere: There's quite a variety to do in the downtown strip near the campus, so there's always something interesting going on. It's also pretty calm, though it does have its' share of incidences, but that's common on most campuses. Since the stadium is on the campus itself, the sporting events get pretty crazy, and the nightlife on the weekends lasts for hours until early morning.

Campus Housing: I wouldn't know for sure since I don't live on campus.

3 College Student

Parking: The parking can get difficult outside of campus on on the campus itself. It's understandable though due to the large population of students and staff that attend, live or work there. So yes it's a bit annoying but completely understandable.

Campus Dining: I like the meal options alright at the cafeteria's around campus. They're like most school lunches with the the same options, just healthier in my opinion. As long as it gives me something to keep me from being hungry in the middle of class, I'm fine with it.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The main sport focus is on football. The games are usually close to sold out and the student section has a lot of school spirit. If you "sit" in the student section, you won't be sitting during the game at all except during half-time.

Academics: Classes can be challenging if you want a good GPA. Overall the professors are pretty great.

Mizzou offers so much to its students that it is hard not to fall in love with the school. The school provides many internships through your major and different work-study opportunities dealing with specific career paths. The difficulty of the classes and the toughness of professors prepare students for work outside of school. MU is unique because it gives students so many opportunities; whether you would like to be a football star or a vet, it offers both and everything in between.

If students had to go back and redo their college application process all over again, Mizzou would still end up being many students' choice. MU offers students a lot of opportunities to advance their career paths, minds, and friendship circles. The school has provided students with everlasting experiences and knowledge.
