4 College Sophomore

Academics: Mizzou has great professors that care about their students. Students can register through MyZou. The site may seem difficult to navigate but they have mentors to walk you through it during orientation. There are many places to study at in Mizzou. There are multiple libraries and students like to study in the Student Center and Memorial as well.

Guys & Girls: Mizzou has a wide range of students. It is very easy to find groups of people with different interests.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: my school has one of the best athletic programs in the country.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: The campus is very warming there is a little construction going on as of right now but other then that everything is kept up to par.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I havent got in depth with my program yet but the workload is pretty intense.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: My school offers many majors and not only do we have a medical school but we also have a law school and a pharmacy school.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: Overall, I absolutely love my school. The biggest drawback is the cost (combined with the lack of decent scholarships - unless you're a minority or extremely lower class). Otherwise, I love how MIZZOU is one big family to me and I always miss Columbia anytime I'm away.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: Life on campus couldn't really get any better. Awesome libraries with amazing hours, always something going on, great school pride, amazing rec center, and overall a close-knit community

Greek Life: Sororities and fraternities don't actually do that much with their houses, it's more along the lines of paying for friends (and it's extremely expensive)

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They recently made changes to the automatic scholarships for incoming freshman (renewable for all four years of undergraduate) and they receive a lot more money for fewer requirements, but whoever was awarded the same scholarship last year still gets less money for better achievements

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Greek life usually only dates Greek life, but that seems pretty typical

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Campus police are usually very good at informing the campus of any threats or crimes

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Lots of cute shops, restaurants, and bars downtown

2 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Not happy at all with how scholarships have changed this year. Incoming freshman are getting thousands more than I am for the same requirements (I was a freshman just last year)

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Getting a suite was the best decision I made regarding living on-campus. Dorm rooms can feel smaller and smaller, so the suite was a nice bonus.

Campus Dining: Usually good food and options, but if you don't use all of your meals, you don't get that money back

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Not many places to shop. Online shopping will be your friend.

3 College Junior

Academics: Not most people know about it. It's very manageable

3 College Junior

Academics: Academically challenging if you have a health major.

3 College Junior

Majors: Satisfied. I think it'll be manageable finding a job.

3 College Junior

Majors: Not that difficult depends on which program you're trying to get into. Some can be really competitive.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: It's good. Challenging academically but really fun.

Mizzou offers so much to its students that it is hard not to fall in love with the school. The school provides many internships through your major and different work-study opportunities dealing with specific career paths. The difficulty of the classes and the toughness of professors prepare students for work outside of school. MU is unique because it gives students so many opportunities; whether you would like to be a football star or a vet, it offers both and everything in between.

If students had to go back and redo their college application process all over again, Mizzou would still end up being many students' choice. MU offers students a lot of opportunities to advance their career paths, minds, and friendship circles. The school has provided students with everlasting experiences and knowledge.
