3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Getting financial aid here is the same process (FAFSA) as at every other school, so I would imagine it's not much easier anywhere else. Here, however, tuition is pretty high so that may be a huge drawback for some students.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Ann Arbor is a very expensive city for everyone. What causes the most problems is the the cost of housing closely followed by parking costs.

2 College Junior

Scholarships: The application process is fine, but it's the fact that you do not receive all the aid you need that is the problem. The university has raised tutition and room costs, yet lowered my aid despite my family's reduced income. My biggest advice: save money before college to avoid an abundance of debt.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: I did not apply for financial aid, but I know many people who did. Michigan seems to be really good about financial aid.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Financial aid is nearly impossible to receive if you are an out-of-state student, despite having to pay a lot more to attend.
