1 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I did not apply for financial aid because I knew I would not receive anything. My school is notorious for giving out very little financial aid to students.

Guys & Girls: Most of the guys on campus are only into partying and hooking up with random girls every weekend. The girls that are willing to do just that don't help the situation either.

1 College Sophomore

Parking: Very hard to find spots and student parking permits are extremely hard to come by and very limited.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There are a lot of non-students on campus at any given time, which concerns me at night, especially if I have to walk alone.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: I personally have my own laptop and it's nice to have access to wireless internet pretty much anywhere on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life can be annoying for non-Greeks. Girls in sororities like to flaunt that they are Greek members and sometimes I feel lost in a sea of preppy people.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus housing is, by far, cheaper than on-campus housing; however, the locations are not the best. Housing on the downtown campus area is closest to classes, shopping and food.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Often times, major areas of study are very closed in within a specific area and diversity is somewhat lacking. Most people are too busy to get out.

3 College Junior

Computers: There are plenty of computers to use on campus and, depending on location, have all sorts of software, however, the printing costs are outrageous!

4 College Junior

Transportation: The local bus system is great (and free) for UM students, however, the limited hours make it difficult to schedule.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Buses are confusing at first.

Drug Safety: I don't partake, but I guess there is a lot of weed here.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: There are drawbacks, being just a number. The professors are t the greatest. But being at Michigan, I'm lung the best minds and resources in the world.

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know. I'm only a freshman.
