3 College Junior

Weather: Michigan weather is very bipolar, but it keeps us on our toes!

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: They're pretty fair, but usually a lot more involved in certain realms such as dorms rather than others such as off-campus apartments

4 College Junior

Diversity: U of M students are very vocal and open as well as accepting.

5 College Junior

Nightlife: There are many bars to choose from and bars are often seen as clubs.

5 College Junior

Academics: The School of Education is very supportive and small so there is a lot of attention given to each student.

5 College Junior

Academics: Big school= many options and resources

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dining options are the best at U of M. There are restaurants everywhere that range from 5 dollar burgers to 50 dollar steaks.

Campus Housing: Only underclassmen live on campus and I moved out after freshmen year. Freshmen do not have much of a choice- they are all put on the crappiest dorms.

Campus Housing: Dorms on campus are great quality - all the super old dorms will be renovated within the next few years so that all will be up to date.

Diversity: The school had to revoke affirmative action a few years ago, so the campus is not as diverse as it once was in regards to ethnicity and race.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: As far as frat-night life goes, it's very active and the party scene is great if you're into that.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: So many places to eat and most of the food in town is great!

5 College Freshman

Computers: Macs and PCs available for use in all major campus buildings!

5 College Freshman

Facilities: I live in a newly renovated dorm so all of the facilities are the best.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: UHS can be slow to help and might take a while for you to get an appointment, but they're helpful overall.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off-campus or know anybody who does.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: The atmosphere is so much fun and everyone on campus feels very connected.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: There are many ways to get around campus!

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life is really active on campus, but it's not the only way to make friends and Greeks and independents don't rally against each other.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: It was a long process, due to mistakes on the end of my family and on the end of scholarship agencies. However, the university's office of financial aid was very helpful.

Parking: I don't drive on campus, but my friends with cars often complain about the (non-school mandated) cost of parking, and parking permits provided by the school cost a lot as well. Not a lot of parking areas to my knowledge.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Lots of choices; good prices.
