Health & Safety: The campus is fairly safe, and I think the UHS (University Health Service) is helpful if you are willing to wait for long amounts of time and pay a lot of money for prescriptions.

Majors: There is such a wide range of majors here at UofM. There is no way that you can come here and not find some classes that you are interested in. I didn't really figure out what I wanted to do until the end of this year, but that didn't really hinder my track of my program. I am still going to be able to graduate on time. I am in the LS&A and I think a lot of what they looked at in the application process was passion and involvement in extracurriculars and such.

Majors: I love the professors and everyone that I've encountered in the process of being in the program so far. I hope to go to graduate school for Social Work, and I think with the connections that UofM has, I won't have trouble finding a job in the future.

Weather: The winters are absolutely terrible. It is freezing and lots of times many of the sidewalks aren't fully cleared, causing for dangerous walks to and from classes.

Athletics: Football Saturdays and Basketball Game Days are super exciting and I love being able to participate. The intramural and club sports are really cool to watch as well.

Drug Safety: I, personally, don't partake in the drug scene, but I have never been negatively affected by those who do.

Scholarships: I am an out-of-state student, so my tuition is already hiked up a lot more than in-state students. This is one of the most expensive public university tuitions I have ever seen, and I find it quite frustrating that I applied for aid and did not receive any.

Nightlife: There is never a weekend that you won't find something to do!

Off-Campus Dining: There are tons of restaurants on and around campus. Some of them are harder to get to when it's winter and there's snow everywhere, but there are plenty of options.

Nightlife: A lot of positive social environments and nightlife for students of all ages to engage in.

Campus Strictness: Appears that U-M does a good job at encouraging students to get involved in organizations and are supportive and take notice to student complaint and social movements.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: Did not receive much aid. The cost of tuition is high. For the amount of income that I will make from my degree, the financial support from the school is lacking.

Local Atmosphere: The amount of activities is fair within Ann Arbor, but the location is close to Detroit where there are professional support, and lots of night life. In the warmer months people appear to be active, and there are beautiful parks with trials to run through.
