4 College Freshman

Athletics: All the sports teams are good.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Depending on your major, each student is given a certain number of pages to print. If you run out because you have a class that requires a lot of printed pages, it's difficult to print for free.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The School of Art and Design is challenging but offers students opportunities that they wouldn't otherwise get to experience in terms of studios and artistic techniques.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: There aren't enough options for all the students to find decent housing; it is expensive and the majority of the houses available are old, falling apart, and dirty.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: While the University has a lot of diversity, the diverse groups seems to stay within their groups and don't mingle with each other, which would increase the sense of diversity on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: For majors involving specialized schools such as business or public policy, start working on the application very early. Deciding to apply later makes it very difficult to catch up to other applicants

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Most students leave school provided housing and the additional freedom is great. Can be quite costly depending on location

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Michigan sports program is internationally known and we support all of our athletes

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Many international students and many students from all walks of life. Meeting such diverse people regularly provides a unique education about the world

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There are only two main bars that undergraduate students go to which is not alot compared to many other Big Ten Schools

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Large events that involve heavy drinking including tailgates. Also, with hash bash, there is a large usage of marijuana in Ann Arbor

Local Atmosphere: Ann Arbor is a bustling city that always has many events for people of all interests. Consists of many privately owned businesses and the restaurants are amazing. On football saturdays, Ann Arbor is the place to be

5 College Sophomore

Academics: Tough classes on par with the top ivy league schools. Extremely effective academic curriculum and great staff members dedicated towards the students' education

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Greek life is an efficient way of grouping together dedicated individuals with similar interests allowing them to do big things for the school and the community. My own fraternity earned $14,000 in a fundraiser towards Tay-Bandz, a charity for children's cancer

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Be aware of the deadlines otherwise you have to wait another year

3 College Senior

Diversity: The diversity at the school as a whole is great, however, a lot of student organizations and especially greek life are not as diverse as I would like.

Campus Housing: I loved living in Mary Markely--it was very social. It was, however, quite far from my classes on Central Campus.

5 College Senior

Academics: I am challenged each and every day by my classmates, who are all equally, if not more, accomplished than I.

Campus Strictness: The campus is relatively lenient when it comes to partying. The exception is large, open parties that often serve excessive amounts of liquor. Those are strictly regulated.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Who hasn't heard of Michigan Football? It's almost a religion around here!

Transportation: Michigan's busing system provides an easy way for students without cars to get around--which is necessary due to the minimal amount of parking!

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Ann Arbor has some of the best breakfast spots in the country! Perfect for when your family or friends are visiting.

5 College Senior

Majors: I had an internship every summer I was at Michigan, except the summer I was studying for the LSAT. MIchigan is so reputable, I had no concerns about finding a position. TIme commitment was large and workload challenging, but it is certainly doable.
