3 College Junior

Health & Safety: Not much experience with it

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live in off-campus housing, it doesn't apply to me.

5 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I love it, there's more than enough for me to stay entertained and so things around the city.

College Sophomore

Scholarships: My financial aid is still in process, they asked for a lot of information.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I think is great, I have never come across any problems or safety issues.

College Sophomore

Nightlife: I wouldn't be able to say I don't live in the school dorms or housing and am not in school during the night.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: The school is very diverse. It is filled with many cultures and is seen in every classroom.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: Computer all over campus. Network is somewhat reliable and is not so slow.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Transportation can be difficult as it is inconsistent

3 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather plays a huge roll as i commute to campus everyday.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: The drug scene if any goes un-noticed

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The choice of academics are great and wide choice

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Their is so much diversity within the university

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: It's ok, that's about it

5 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Housing: It was great Umass Boston is usually for commuters, people that work and also go to school. I did not have any problems finding a house, it was kind of far from the school but cheaper than the school´s housing.

Academics: I was great to do accounting as a major. Many aother students looked at it as something hard to do, but I always did great in my clases. I was hard but I finish it succesefully.

Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: I did not live on campus

3 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: I can honestly say I had not been part of any athelic team or watch any game so I do not thing I can give an opinion about this.

5 Recent Alumnus

Local Atmosphere: My school was located in near downtown boston, where i had access to the movies shopping and restaurants.

3 Recent Alumnus

Drug Safety: There is always pressure to drink or do drugs on campus, and there is defenitly peer pressure but at my school I was not involve in any drug situation, only alcohol, that nowadays it is normal for a person to drink.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I am frustrated with this school and the lack of help it gives out-of-state students. We are, after all, the cash cows for the university and I think after we pay one, or at max two, year(s) of out of state tuition, and we petition to be in state.. we should be allowed. This is the most important frustration that I have dealt with by coming to UMB.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Like any other school that has a large population, you are going to have to focus on supply and demand and I feel like that is what the campus is trying to do when initiating new policies and programs to target this issue.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I really enjoy the Political Science department here at UMB. I think the professors are fascinating, and the variety in course offerings are abundant.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: The professors are probably the best part when it comes to academics here at UMB. I mean sure a lot of them are not really the leaders in their fields, but most of them are personable and I feel like you learn a lot more from those type of professionals opposed to those who are at the top and are disconnected.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Again, UMB is a commuter campus and at the moment a non residential campus. So a lot of the students have to be responsible for themselves.
