3 College Freshman

Nightlife: the DJs are pretty good. it's just the boys are kinda creepy at times and they literally dry hump you at times. as a girl it gets annoying and i would rather go to a party at SU at times because the guys are less likely to try and take you home there

2 College Freshman

Nightlife: There are no public spots that would qualify as a club or a bar. There are only a few ways to get to a nearby city and it does not run very late at night. Parties are usually house parties.

Nightlife: you can have fun with your friends

College Freshman

Nightlife: I don't go out at all while I'm at school. I stay to myself most of the time so I couldn't really describe the nightlife.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: Parties are on campus most times, walking distance.

The nightlife close to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore is not good at all. There are not many bars or clubs near campus, and it’s a long drive to most nightlife options. This distance is not usually worth it, and many students find that going home to go out to clubs and bars is more fun and convenient. The one positive about nightlife in the area is that it is affordable. Many spots have nights with great deals for all college students or even just students from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

There are parties on or near campus, which makes up for the lack of clubs in the surrounding area. Many of these parties are held in Arden’s Run and Talons, which are off-campus apartments, while some parties take place in the Clusters. Many of the dorms have small parties, as well. There are not many options for underage students, and the freshman dorms have stricter visitation policies, so they party among themselves as facility heads allow. However, campus administrators and student government try to host parties to give these students something to do. There is also bowling and movie theaters on and off campus. Overall, nightlife here is what you make it. While there are not many clubs or bars, everyone can find something to do to have fun.
