College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: i have never had one

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Since UMBC is still considered a commuter school- there is not alot of options for students to dine off campus. Even McDonalds and other fast food chains are not close by.

5 College Junior

Diversity: There's alot of diversity in groups, events, housing, and activities

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: I'm not sure about some of these, but i feel relatively safe at school. Police are also hidden. But since there is not a lot of crime, i think they focus more on traffic and speeding rather than violence and drugs.

2 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: I don't have any scholarships.

3 College Junior

Computers: Computer labs, printing, and scanning are all available on campus.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Athletic events are enjoyable to attend on occasion.

3 College Junior

Majors: There are many serious academic programs available at this school.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: It is a nice city to live in, with many students and young working people.

2 College Junior

Campus Dining: I have not yet become familiar with many of the campus dining options quite yet.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: The school is located in a decent part of Baltimore, but there is always safety concern to some degree, being in a big city.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: The city can sometimes be difficult to go out to the bars in terms of safety (from a female stand-point), and being a big city, the prices are a little beyond a college student budget.

4 College Junior

Facilities: This school has very nice, new buildings and facilities with up-to-date technology.

3 College Junior

Facilities: The school is located directly next to a hospital, as well as other neighboring universities, so it is convenient for medical students, but also allows one to get to know a variety of people.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Students here are very into academics and spend more time working at school than going out to party, etc.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The city of Baltimore has a wide variety of off-campus dining options, since it is such a diverse city.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I had a great time during my college years. I formed great friendships and had many wonderful, character-building experiences.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: There is no Greek life at my school.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: Most students are very serious about their coursework and health, so they do not participate in these sorts of activities.

3 College Junior

Weather: Weather varies, as in most locations. On nice days, it is great to walk around campus, and rainy days, not so much. It is still a beautiful area and place to live.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: The school provides a few options, especially at the beginning of the year

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Get it in early, call, and make sure everything is working out okay. But call to make sure.

3 College Junior

Parking: It's a pain if you try to find street parking. Buy a parking pass in the school garage.

3 College Junior

Diversity: There's a diversity. Not much racial diversity, but there's some. Mostly white, middle class American.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I don't really go out much, so i don't have much to say. but I hear of some places that sound nice. check yelp.
