If you can't find somebody you like at U of L, then shame on you. There is a practically endless choice of people on campus, with at least hundreds, if not thousands, who could be considered "hot." There are probably more hot girls than guys on campus, but that could be because there are more girls on campus in general. However, if you're looking for a meaningful relationship, you might have some trouble because there is a lot of hooking up and casual dating going on around here. Most U of L students just don't appear to be looking for someone they're going to be with for the rest of their lives—they're just looking for a good time.

People don't usually talk much about sexual activity at U of L, but the PEACC program often offers sexual health information at events. Sure, there are plenty of students here who have obtained reputations, but there are also students who value keeping their innocence. To put it simply, if you like to party and hook up, you should be satisfied, and if you like to keep it tame and quiet, you should be happy, as well.

Best Places to Hook Up
  1. Your room

Social Scene
There are always large groups of people hanging out at the SAC, especially in the evenings, so it's a good place to meet people. Other than the SAC, Greek Row has always been a pretty happening place, especially on weekends, when the parties are held. If small gatherings are more your thing, most dorms have smaller events throughout the year that offer plenty of opportunities to meet new people. Student organizations (called RSOs here) and related events are also popular, especially campus ministry events for those who are religious.
Hookups or Relationships?
At U of L, it seems like everybody is involved with somebody, whether it's a "real" relationship or not. Hooking up seems to be a popular choice on campus, but always make sure that that "special someone" you're hooking up with isn't already taken or you could end up in big trouble.
Dress Code
Most of the time, you'll see students heading to class in a T-shirt and jeans, and sometimes you'll even see girls in their pajamas. You'll find a little bit of everything on campus: short skirts, rocker chic, office casual, preppy-the list goes on and on.
