Local Atmosphere: La Verne is a beautiful quaint city, not too far from the beaches, theme parks, LA or Hollywood. The city is more for families and elderly. It is also a very tight knit community. A lot of connections between the university and local establishments.

Local Atmosphere: There are many different places to eat which I love. They're affordable and so it's convenient during my breaks in between classes to go and grab a quick bite to eat and I don't always have to eat the sand thing because there's a variety.

Local Atmosphere: Nice little town with a very safe feeling and an active area.

Local Atmosphere: Very charming town. About 30 minutes to every kind of location; downtown LA, the beach, the mountains. Community is very safe, we have a police and fire fighter station on campus. Every Thursday we have a nighttime street far, also we are right across the street from the Fairplex, where the LA county fair is housed.
